Some of his subordinates had also suggested reverse-engineering the Heart Energy Concealment Device, but Li Wen had rejected all of them.
His reasoning was simple. As long as Xu Le did not frown or express any difficulties, Zion would have a stable supply of Heart Energy Concealment Devices. Stability was what mattered most to a city-state.
If the reverse-engineering succeeded, everyone would naturally be happy. But if it failed and they fell out with Xu Le, that would be a truly terrible situation.
Besides, no one knew whether Li Wen had actually attempted to reverse-engineer the Heart Energy Concealment Device. He merely said he never had.
Li Wen slowly stepped onto the stage, and the exchange event's host beside him immediately announced enthusiastically:

According to reliable information I received earlier, this is a major research breakthrough that will change the course of Zion's entire history. Now, let us hand the stage over to Minister Li Wen."
Thunderous applause rang out. To the students of Zion University of Technology, the name Zion Progressives represented something they truly aspired to.
