The Sun in the sky, and the earth beneath his feet?
"The Sun?" Xu Le instinctively wanted to glance up at the sky, but that tiny movement pulled him out of Meng Po's lingering memories.
There was only the Red Moon in the sky. There was no Sun to speak of.
After being touched by the Guyinduo Branch, Meng Po before him had already crumbled into ash. Xu Le found that outcome rather regrettable.
He had just obtained a great deal of useful information from Meng Po, all of it mid-level information.
It was the sort that those above him, like Night Fiend, considered unremarkable, but those below had no access to. It filled a large gap in Xu Le's knowledge.
In Meng Po's memories, Lightforging's body had already been divided up after Night Fiend tore it apart.
From what he currently knew, Lighthouse had taken Lightforging's head to use as a light bulb, or even an energy source.
Crazy as that was, it was indeed a powerful and proper way to make use of the Children of Guyinduo.
As for Lightforging's body, Night Fiend or some other power had raised it into the sky, where it became the Sun.
This revelation shook Xu Le deeply.
From his perspective as someone who had transmigrated, the Sun was something far larger than the moon, with vastly more energy.
The Sun represented light and heat. That was common knowledge.
But the question was... were the Sun and moon here the same things as the Sun and moon he had known before?
The moon here was very likely some kind of advanced lifeform.
