Ding Ke licked her paw and looked at Xu Le, who was clenching his fist beside her, with a somewhat strange expression.
There had to be some special purpose behind that sudden clenching of his fist.
"Killing people. Best to take it seriously." Xu Le smiled.
"Killing people? You don't look very nervous. But you seem a little colder than before. Even doing something like that doesn't cause any fluctuations in your Heart Energy anymore. Meow."
Hearing Ding Ke say that, Xu Le fell silent for a moment.
Had his heart grown cold?
He didn't know whether he had changed, either, but one thing was true: the process of slaughter like this no longer stirred him as much.
