Duo En followed the direction of Meilis's Sub-temple and arrived at its location.
If Xu Le had been discussing matters with Meilis all along and was plotting something involving the Red Moon Holy Temple, he probably would not have gone far.
"In this place between illusion and the real world, Xu Le should be in much the same state as a Night Demon. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't stray far from this area."
Duo En lightly slit her palm. Human puppets were no different from ordinary humans; once wounded, they bled.
"Blood Draw."
Duo En took out Xu Le's hair.
As a Puppet Master, she collected hair from every enemy.
She had collected these strands when she tried to kill Xu Le before, and now they had indeed come in handy.
"Help me find Xu Le."
The bead of blood formed by Blood Draw slowly rose, then quickly flew off in one direction.
Duo En's eyes lit up at the sight. This meant Xu Le himself was nearby, very close...
"What a coincidence."
She grinned, then walked toward the Blood Draw.
Soon, she sensed Xu Le's presence.
Duo En immediately hid, suppressing every trace of her human presence.
Though they were puppets, human puppets resembled humans far too closely. Often, this was both an advantage and a disadvantage.
Duo En carefully followed behind Xu Le, continuing to tail him.
Up ahead, Xu Le showed no intention of stopping. Of course, he did not seem to have noticed Duo En either.
They continued like this, one ahead of the other, for a long time.
Duo En had started tailing Xu Le sometime after twelve, and it was now past two.
As she continued following him, Duo En discovered that Xu Le seemed to be following something too.
That made things interesting.
