At the far end of the battlefield, Cangming and Flying Feather, who had already withdrawn successfully, suddenly sensed something.
The human and the god turned toward the Foggy Forest in unison.
Light!
They saw light.
The sound had yet to reach them, but judging by the light and that heart-pounding sensation, an enormous explosion had suddenly erupted where they had just been fighting.
That kind of destructive power... was simply unimaginable.
"What happened?" Flying Feather looked at the little old man, Cangming, seemingly wanting him to explain what had happened over there.
In truth, Flying Feather already had a guess. She had suffered such severe injuries, with an arm and a wing torn off.
If someone swooped in and stole the prize at a time like this, her mind, long tormented by troubling thoughts, would never remain stable.
She was already on the verge of Rampage.
"Cangming, say something!"
When Cangming failed to answer her question for so long, Flying Feather pressed him.
But Cangming merely stared toward the site of their earlier battle, his brows tightly furrowed.
Could he really fail to think of something even Flying Feather could think of? Of course not. He simply could not believe it, even now.
"Who could it be?"
Cangming sounded as though he were asking Flying Feather, but he was actually asking himself.
Apart from them, who else possessed such strength, such combat power?
"Did Red Moon arrange another contingency, or did another Child of Guyinduo make a move? I know the fighting between these Children of Guyinduo is even fiercer than what we've seen. If this is their internal conflict, then success is certainly possible..."
Flying Feather forced out an explanation with an ugly expression, but Cangming knew it could not possibly be the Children of Guyinduo or Red Moon.
