The Demon Beasts they had encountered over the past two days had grown increasingly powerful. Their route traced a broad arc as they began heading back toward the outskirts.
Several times, they had only escaped the Demon Beasts pursuing them by narrowly cheating death.
Li Dalong had also gathered some Spirit Plants and immortal medicines unique to the Extreme Cold Icefield and transplanted them into the Heaven and Earth Pearl, but they rapidly withered and died as soon as they left the Extreme Cold Icefield.
