A mistaken fall into Pansi Cave (forty-seven)
However, the Eastern Migration of Buddhism was an inevitable trend of Heavenly Dao.
Buddhism originated in the West and flourished in China; this is the will of Heaven, and cannot be changed.
The poem reads: Great Sect flow to the Eastern Land, the Buddha-Light in China.
The Tathagata Buddha had long foreseen Heaven and Earth grand scheme of things, and thus presided over the Eastern Migration.
Just then, a Buddha descended upon the Great Thunderclap Temple, riding on Auspicious Clouds.
What a magnificent Buddha statue! Round and full, compassionate and serene, with a dignified figure and compassionate eyes. Its face is yellowish, and it has a leprosy on the back of its head, which is covered by Merit.
Upon seeing this, the the Monks were overjoyed and stepped forward, weeping as they bowed, saying, "Amitabha Buddha!"
Amitabha Buddha said, "I have descended here today because Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Akashagarbha Bodhisattva, Sarvanivaranavishkambhin Bodhisattva, and Golden Cicada are in distress, and I must go to their aid to ensure their good karma is fulfilled."
Upon hearing this, the the Monks followed the Buddha's carriage without hesitation.
In a short while, they arrived outside the Yellow Flower Temple.
Amitabha Buddha stepped into the formation, followed by the the Monks.
Upon seeing him, Ao Tu immediately recognized him as the old Daoist in the Green Lotus robe and shouted, "What a shameless, treacherous Buddha! How could you disguise yourself Daoist to secretly harm me?"
Amitabha Buddha said, "Fellow practitioner, do not be angry. This old monk came here in the past for the sake of achieving perfect good results, and he has come here today for the same reason."
Ao Tu scoffed, "Ha! Why bother with further words? We've already done it!"
Having said that, he, at the level of Golden Immortal, rivaled the Sage. With the Hetu Luoshu above his head and the Black Origin Water-Control Banner around his body, the power of the Heavenly Dao followed him.
Amitabha Buddha sighed and manifested his compassionate Golden Body, with eighty-four thousand forms, sitting serenely within the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle.
As soon as Ao Tu moved, the Stars of the Celestial Cycle moved in unison, the sun rose and the moon set, Hetu Luoshu shone Divine Light, forming an Formation and unleashing Supernatural Ability called "Great Time."
The Great Time " refers to the time of ultimate demise.
The Host of Stars are silent, the Laws are not revealed, the number of the Great Dao is fifty, the number of the Heavenly Evolution is forty-nine, now all forty-nine have vanished, and the gods and Buddhas have perished.
Within the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle, the Heavenly Dao was entirely under Ao Tu's control, allowing him to unleash such Supernatural Ability.
In the blink of an eye, the world was transformed. The Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle opened up and evolved into a new world, a realm where Laws were barren and no one worshipped gods or Buddhas, and stabilized within the Great Thousand Worlds. One begets two, two begets three, replacing the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds, turning the illusory into the real and the real into the illusory.
The Monks were terrified. In an instant, the temple collapsed, the Golden Body shattered, and the clay sculptures were destroyed. The Buddha's curtains were cut to make clothes, and the bricks and tiles were collected to build houses. Buddhist scriptures scriptures were used to write variant texts, and the Buddha Hall was used as a place to raise cattle and graze sheep.
All the the Monks knelt before Amitabha Buddha and said:
"The Demon Dragon opened this realm with the intention of overthrowing our religion. We beseech Amitabha Buddha to use his great power to destroy this heretic."
Amitabha Buddha was deeply troubled, yet he showed no fear of the destruction of his Golden Body, nor anger at the loss of Faith. He addressed the the Monks and said:
"This realm represents a shift in the Heavenly Dao, which cannot be resisted; one must adapt to the changing circumstances."
After speaking, Amitabha Buddha, with great perseverance, Wisdom, and power, revised the teachings, rewrote the Buddhist scriptures, cut off one of his arms, and abandoned twelve thousand of his physical forms in order to be reborn.
None of the the Monks could understand it, and countless Monks died during the incident.
However, as time passed, people regained their faith in Buddhism, rebuilt the Buddha Statue, gilded Golden Body again, fluttered the Buddha banners, built numerous Buddha Hall, the Monks were reborn, thus breaking the Supernatural Ability.
Ao Tu spat out a mouthful of blood. He had used his Golden Immortal realm to trap Sage in the formation, but the backlash was too severe.
Undeterred by his failure, Ao Tu unleashed another Supernatural Ability Supernatural Ability.
This Supernatural Ability is the reverse of the former; the number of the Great Dao is fifty, and all of them are at their peak.
Furthermore, a new realm was created in the vast world, where gods and Buddhas flourished and Faith reached its zenith.
The Monks fell into this trap perished even faster than the former, corrupted and degenerate, ignoring the Precepts, indulging in debauchery and moral decay, and gradually sinking into depravity.
Amitabha Buddha was deeply immersed in it, but he was neither happy because of the great prosperity nor indulged because of the great success. He once again cut off one of his arms, abandoned twelve thousand forms, revised the Buddhist scriptures, and adjusted the Precepts.
None of the the Monks could understand.
Time passes, periods of great prosperity and decline occur, and order is restored.
His Supernatural Ability were thus broken.
This is the way of the Sage, perfect and flawless.
Ao Tu was no match for the attack and suffered a backlash, spitting out a mouthful of blood. Helpless, he could only gather the power of countless Stars, holding the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity in his left hand and the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree in his right, and launch a forceful attack.
Amitabha Buddha sat cross-legged in the great formation. To his right, the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity struck down, destroying one of his forms; to his left, the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree swept down, destroying nine of his forms.
Amitabha Buddha flicked his finger, striking the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity Bucket, which emitted a buzzing sound that shocked the gods and demons in the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle, causing them to cover their ears and lose control of the array.
Ao Tu's arms were sore and numb, and he could no longer hold the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity.
Two people fell out of the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity: one was the Śikhin Buddha, and the other Viśvabhū Buddha.
After the two Buddhas escaped their predicament, they saw Amitabha Buddha and were overjoyed, thinking that the Demon Dragon would surely perish upon seeing the Buddha. Therefore, they walked through the formation and attacked and killed the Little Demon.
Because the Five Dipper Star Lords, the Five Phases Star Lords, the Taiyin and Sun were all doing their best to help Ao Tu fight against Amitabha Buddha, the two Buddhas were unstoppable after they broke free and roamed the formation, killing countless Little Demon.
A Mastiff Spirit bit the Śikhin Buddha, but was killed by the Viśvabhū Buddha who broke its waist and abdomen.
A giant Crab Spirit clamped down on Viśvabhū Buddha, but Śikhin Buddha Sikkim crushed its shell and heart, causing it to die.
There was an old Mountain Goat Spirit who was captured by the Viśvabhū Buddha, who grabbed his horns and cut off his head, causing him to die.
A Toad Spirit swallowed the Śikhin Buddha, but could not digest it, and its intestines ruptured, causing it to die.
In the blink of an eye, four great demons and countless Little Demon perished, their True Spirit entering the tribulation and being absorbed into the Soul-Scattering Gourd and the Purple-Gold Red Gourd hanging above the great formation.
Seeing the two Buddhas acting so presumptuously, Ao Tu abandoned Amitabha Buddha and used the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree to strike the two Buddhas to death.
Upon seeing this, Amitabha Buddha manifested three Sarira on his head, emitting white light. One of them shot out like a nail, pinning Ao Tu in mid-air, preventing him from escaping.
Seeing this, Ao Tu retrieved the precious tree, took out the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow, and prepared to shoot the two Buddhas.
Amitabha Buddha shot out two more Sarira, which nailed to Ao Tu's hands, preventing Ao Tu from holding the bow, and causing the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow to fall to the ground.
When Viśvabhū Buddha saw this, he became greedy and wanted to take it, so he went forward and stole the bow.
Nezha flew over on his Wind Fire Wheels, rolled Universe-Splitting Silk a magical ribbon), and seized the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow.
Upon seeing this, Ao Tu exhaled a stream of Ziwei Dragon Qi.
Nezha used Dragon Qi as an arrow, barefoot, and shot it towards the sky, hitting Viśvabhū Buddha squarely between the eyebrows, creating a large hole. Viśvabhū Buddha then sent a wisp of his True Spirit into the calamity.
Amitabha Buddha sighed, "If greed is not eradicated, this calamity is inevitable."
Seeing that he was no match for Amitabha Buddha, Ao Tu ordered the Blood Sea King to lead the demons away.
In Ao Tu's original plan, he should have attacked the Tathagata Buddha first, and then Amitabha Buddha. However, he did not expect that Tathagata Buddha would arrive first before the Buddha Amitabha Buddha, resulting in the current situation.
Led by the Blood Sea King, the demons retreated, during which many more Demon died, and many monks also perished in the calamity.
Ao Tu kept his promise and collected the True Spirit of all the demons into the two Gourd, which would later be used to Investiture of the Gods upon them.
After some time, the demons withdrew, and Ao Tu then instructed the gods to evacuate.
The gods all withdrew.
Only those high-ranking and respected figures such as the Taiyin Star Lord, the Five Phases Star Lords, and the Five Dipper Star Lords remained. They were not afraid of being killed by the Buddhist Sect, so they stayed behind to block Amitabha Buddha and told Ao Tu to leave first.
Ao Tu didn't stand on ceremony. He summoned Small Boat, broke open the three Sarira of Amitabha Buddha, and prepared to leave by boat.
Upon seeing this, Śikhin Buddha blocked Ao Tu's boat, attempting to stop it.
Ao Tu was in a hurry and didn't see the Śikhin Buddha. He launched his triangular Black Ship, ignoring the Golden Body of the Buddha, and sailed straight past. There was a cracking sound, and something was crushed underneath it before disappearing in an instant.
The Monks looked over and saw that the Śikhin Buddha had been crushed to pieces, and a True Spirit had entered the calamity.
