Meanwhile, Ao Tu left the battle.

The remaining Great Sun Demon King and the stars blocked Amitabha Buddha's way.

Upon seeing this, Amitabha Buddha manifested a Fly-Whisk with Five-Colored Lotus Flowers on Fly-Whisk, and struck the Host of Stars towards them.

Seeing this, the Host of Stars joined forces to activate the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle to fight against Amitabha Buddha.

First came Taibai, Mars, Jupiter Star, and Saturn Star.

Amitabha Buddha flicked his Fly-Whisk, and wrapped the Host of Stars with Five-Colored Lotus Flowers.

Then came the Seven Stars of the Northern Dipper), the Six Stars of the Southern Dipper), the Five Stars of the Eastern Dipper), the Four Stars of the Western Dipper), Three Stars of the Central Dipper).

Amitabha Buddha flicked his Fly-Whisk again, enveloping Host of Stars.

The Taiyin Star Lord transformed into the Ancient Moon Star, arriving with the power of the Stars of the Celestial Cycle.

Amitabha Buddha once again flicked his Fly-Whisk, enveloping the Moon.

The Monks were overjoyed and praised the Buddha.

Amitabha Buddha Fly-Whisk his whisk, and all the Host of Stars were sent to the Heavenly Realm.

Only the Great Sun Demon King remained in the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle, carrying only a Sun Flag; the array was on the verge of collapse.

Knowing that the Sage was no match for him, the Great Sun Demon King turned his attention to the Monks.

The Great Sun Demon King, holding the Sun Flag in his mouth, transformed into the True Form of the Demon Emperor, lifting the Great Sun high in the sky. He cried out three times, and blood flowed onto the flag. With the true blood of the Demon Emperor, he activated the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle, invoking the Heavenly Dao and unleashing three great calamities in the past, present, and Future, annihilating the Monks of the Western Heaven.

Sunlight scattered in all directions, and more than ten White Qi stretched across the Heavenly Cycle Star Lodges. The sky was often overcast, and the sun was as dark as dusk. Yellow snow fell in winter, and yellow dust descended in spring, filling handfuls. Frost fell in the height of summer, and there were great droughts and floods. The five grains failed to be harvested, the Western Heaven, the fortunes were halved, and the Incense Offerings were cut off.

Many Monks had their Incense Offerings Fortune severed at the source by the Great Sun Demon King, their Golden Body shattered, and they turned to dust and entered the calamity.

Upon seeing this, Amitabha Buddha shed tears and advised the Great Sun Demon King:

"You are the Great Sun, like a father to all living beings. Now you have caused three great calamities, making the beings of the Western Heaven suffer. How can you bear it?"

Upon hearing this, the Great Sun Demon King looked across the past, present, Future, and seeing the suffering of all living beings, he felt a pang of pity. As the Ao Tu Incarnation, his thoughts and ideas were the same as Ao Tu's, and therefore he did not wish to involve those ordinary people in his heart.

After some thought, the Great Sun Demon King used his last strength to reduce the calamity to the most prosperous Buddhist Temple. Although this would still affect many ordinary people, it was at least much better than before. He wasn't the Buddha, and couldn't control so many things.

Since these Western Heaven people worship Faith the Buddha, let the Buddha they worship Faith save them.

Seeing this, Amitabha Buddha advised again:

"Since you have a kind heart, why not let go of your hatred, return to the Western Heaven, and sit on Lotus Throne?"

The Great Sun Demon King ignored them and continued to wreak havoc.

The Monks were terrified and pleaded with Amitabha Buddha to Subduing Demons.

Amitabha Buddha sighed and Fly-Whisk whisk, which enveloped the Great Sun Demon King with Five-Colored Lotus Flowers.

The Great Sun Demon King, wrapped in Lotus Flower, soared and spun wildly in the Heaven.

The Monks watched for a while and, seeing that the Demon could not break the Lotus Flower, were relieved.

Lotus Flower flew wildly, reaching the very center of the Heaven.

A beam of Divine Light suddenly pierced through the Lotus Flower and struck straight at the back of Amitabha Buddha's head.

It turned out that the Great Sun Demon King burned himself out in the Lotus Flower, transforming into the body of Pangu, and emitted a Heaven-Opening and Earth-Creating Divine Light, breaking the Lotus Flower and heading straight for the back of Amitabha Buddha's head.

The back of the head is the place where Amitabha Buddha Dao Wound.

Ao Tu had seen this wound before, so he knew that this was Amitabha Buddha's weakness.

Amitabha Buddha was slightly surprised to see this, but he did not panic. Merit flowed behind his head, blocking the Divine Light and dissolving it inch by inch.

All the the Monks were watching.

Although the Divine Light broke through layers of obstacles and almost destroyed the Merit, it was ultimately exhausted by the Merit and failed to break through the profound Merit protecting Amitabha Buddha.

The Monks felt greatly reassured.

Just then, the Divine Light dissipated, and something suddenly appeared inside— the Sun Flag of the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle. Enveloped in Divine Light, it resembled a divine spear, breaking through the last layer of Merit. Its momentum did not diminish, and it pierced straight into the back of Amitabha Buddha's head.

The flag is unfurled, and the Sun pattern radiates Divine Light.

The Monks had strange expressions.

Amitabha Buddha's face stiffened for a moment, but he quickly concealed it, reaching out to remove the Sun Flag from the back of his head.

There were no marks on the back of his head, not even the slightest redness or swelling.

Sage is invincible.

However, the Sun Flag stuck on the back of Amitabha Buddha's head, leaving a deep mark on his scalp, which aggravated Amitabha Buddha's Dao Wound, causing his bald head to itch terribly.

The Great Sun Demon King had long since burned to ashes and died, leaving nothing behind.

Amitabha Buddha was furious, but he couldn't show it, so he took the Sun Flag in his hand and squeezed it so hard that he broke it in two.

The Monks watched this scene without daring to utter a sound.

As the Sun Flag shattered, the Great Formation of Stars of the Celestial Cycle also collapsed.

The Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva and the others were rescued.

A Formation Diagram also appeared in the air between Pansi Ridge and Yellow Flower Temple.

The Monks were delighted upon seeing it and wanted to present the Formation Diagram to Amitabha Buddha.

Just then, someone shouted from the Heaven:

"The Supreme Jade Emperor, the most revered and naturally existent deity of the Golden Palace of the Haotian, has decreed!"

Upon hearing this, the the Monks looked up and saw patches of Colored Clouds and auspicious Auspicious Light. The Taiyin Star Lord Goddess, dressed in divine robes, was Lower Realm with her Host of Stars officials.

Upon Mahasthamaprapta, the Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta stepped forward to receive the decree.

Amitabha Buddha also showed a respectful expression.

The Taiyin Star Lord, holding the Jade Emperor's golden edict, descended before the the Monks. She first bowed to Amitabha Buddha to show her respect, and then read the edict aloud:

"The Supreme Buddhism Amitabha Buddha of the Western Ox Continent has rendered meritorious service in Subduing Demons the demon, and is hereby bestowed with ten Golden Flower, ten jars of Imperial Wine, ten bolts of brocade, and ten catties of sacrificial meat. It has now been determined that the Demon Dragon Formation Diagram was stolen from the Tongming Hall. If it is recovered, it should be returned to the celestial realm without delay."

After the Taiyin Star Lord finished reading the decree, she looked at Amitabha Buddha and said, "Please accept the decree, Your Majesty."

Amitabha Buddha paid no attention to the Formation Diagram and nodded, saying, "This old monk accepts the decree."

The Moon Goddess then looked at the grand array diagram of the celestial constellations and said, "I will take this."

Amitabha Buddha said, "Please."

The Monks found this extremely unacceptable.

Amitabha Buddha said, "One must not go against the will of Heavenly Dao."

Upon hearing this, the the Monks dared not disobey Amitabha Buddha, and had no choice but to let the Taiyin Star Lord take the Formation Diagram away.

The Moon Goddess took the array diagram and unabashedly took out her own moon banner. Upon seeing this, the star officials around her took out their own star banners. The banners were combined and transformed into the original Zhou Tian Xing Dou Grand Array banners.

It was only because the Sun Flag was damaged by Amitabha Buddha that it could not be combined with the other flags. Therefore, the flags of the Zhou Tian Xing Dou Grand Array were incomplete, and the sun, moon and star patterns on them lost the sun, leaving only the moon and stars.

Heaven and Earth and earth, sensing the danger, unleashed a malevolent aura. This was the Baleful Qi of the Great Calamity that the Great Sun Demon King had unleashed in the past, present, and Future, condensing on the flag and turning it pitch black on the front and a ghastly green on the back, making it extremely terrifying.

After the Baleful Qi subsided, a great mass of Merit descended from Heaven and Earth and earth.

I don't know why I bestowed Merit upon them.

Perhaps it was because the Great Sun Demon King had good intentions and used his own power to change the calamity, without affecting ordinary people.

In short, the the Monks could not understand it, but the Merit still descended.

A large mass of merit condensed on the flag, concealing the evil aura and transforming the Zhou Tian Xing Dou Grand Array flag into a treasure of merit.

The Formation Flag possessed a spirit; they tore through the void and flew to the Heavenly Realm to find their master.

Upon seeing this, the Taiyin Star Lord accepted the Formation Diagram and then handed over the gifts bestowed upon her by the Jade Emperor to the the Monks.

The Monks harbored resentment and were unwilling to accept it.

Anyone who has experienced such a brutal battle, with countless deaths and injuries, yet ultimately gained nothing, would harbor a great deal of resentment.

In the end, it was Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, with his profound Buddha -Buddha Nature, who accepted the Jade Emperor's reward.

Seeing this, Amitabha Buddha nodded, his eyes showing approval.
