Meanwhile, Ao Tu gathered his demons, intending to vanquish the evil.

On the other side, Wukong was swallowed by the Green Lion.

The Green Lion, thinking it had won, returned to its cave.

Golden-Winged Great Peng exclaimed anxiously, "Big Brother, you can't eat Sun Wukong!"

Wukong laughed from inside, "Eat well, eat well, endure hunger and thirst, it's delicious!"

Golden-Winged Great Peng said, "Look, he's talking inside your belly!"

Green Lion said, "Third Younger Brother, are you scared of this Monkey? I can eat him, so why should I be afraid of not being able to deal with him? Men, boil some salted water, let me drink it, vomit him out, and then catch him to make wine."

The Little Demon then boiled half a pot of salt water.

The Green Lion drank it and tried his best to vomit, Wukong seemed to have taken root in his stomach, and no matter how much the Green Lion vomited, he couldn't vomit it out.

When the Green Lion saw that Wukong wouldn't come out, he said he would use a teleportation technique to starve Wukong to death without eating.

Wukong only said he wanted to eat the Green Lion's liver, intestines, stomach, and lungs to get through the winter.

The Green Lion was terrified and ordered his Little Demon to bring over the medicated wine, intending to poison Wukong. He drank seven or eight cups, but Wukong drank them all.

Wukong, having drunk too much, started acting crazy, somersaulting and dancing wildly inside the Green Lion's belly.

The Green Lion was in so much pain that it fell to the ground, rolling around in agony, unable to breathe or make a sound. After a long while, it regained its breath and hurriedly begged for mercy, calling itself the Great Compassionate and Merciful Bodhisattva Great Sage Equal to Heaven.

Wukong laughed and said, "My son, don't bother with that, just Sun Grandpa!"

The Green Lion was also afraid of death. His grandfather cried out countless times, saying that he had accidentally swallowed Wukong, begging for his life, and offering to carry Tang Sanzang across the mountain in a sedan chair.

Hearing this from inside, Wukong saw the Green Lion begging for mercy and agreed to spare him, telling the Green Lion to open his mouth and come out.

But the Golden-Winged Great Peng was malicious. He secretly told the Green Lion that when Wukong got the food to his mouth, he should bite it with all his might, chew it up, and eat it.

Upon hearing this, Wukong did not come out immediately, but instead stretched out his Golden Cudgel to test him.

Heeding the Golden-Winged Great Peng's words, the Green Lion bit down with all its might, and with a snap, shattered one of its front teeth.

Seeing this, Wukong refused to come out and instead caused a great disturbance inside the Green Lion's belly.

The Green Lion complained to the Golden-Winged Great Peng again.

Seeing that the Green Lion was angry with him, the Golden-Winged Great Peng used a provocation tactic again, speaking into the Green Lion's belly:

"Sun Wukong, I've heard so Havoc in Heaven, but I never imagined you were just a junior!"

Wukong asked, "How am I a junior?"

Golden-Winged Great Peng said, "If you're a hero, you should come out and fight us. Showing off your power only inside others' bellies—what kind of junior are you?"

Wukong, who valued his reputation above all else, thought this made sense and said, "Very well, find a spacious place, and I'll come out and fight you!"

Upon hearing this, Golden-Winged Great Peng helped his Big Brother to a spacious area outside. He then mobilized 30,000 Little Demon from the cave, dividing them into three groups to ambush Wukong as soon as he emerged.

Wukong had already heard the commotion inside and knew that the Demon was mobilizing his troops. He thought that if he went out, there would be too many people; if he didn't go out, he would lose face. After thinking it over, he plucked a hair from his body and turned it into a thin rope, only as thick as a hair. He tied it to the heart of the Green Lion and thought of going out through its mouth. But he was afraid that the Green Lion would bite through the rope, so he went up and went out through its nostril.

The Green Lion felt itchy, sneezed, and expelled Wukong in one breath.

Seeing this, all the Demon rushed forward to attack.

Wukong leaped out of the circle of demons and tugged at the rope. The rope didn't hurt when he didn't tug, but when he did, it caused excruciating pain in his chest, making the Green Lion fly upwards in agony.

Wukong slammed the Green Lion down again, slamming it onto the hillside and creating a two-foot-deep crater.

Upon seeing this, Golden-Winged Great Peng and the White Elephant had no choice but to kneel down on the slope with the Green Lion, begging for mercy in every way possible. They first called him "Grandpa," then "Grandfather," saying they would carry Tang Sanzang in a sedan chair and send him over the mountain. Only then did Wukong release the Green Lion and go to invite Tang Sanzang.

Those three monsters, though human in appearance, were beasts in heart. Seeing that Wukong had left, they wanted to go back on their word.

White Elephant said, "Big Brother, you shouldn't have swallowed that Monkey King just now. If it comes to swords and spears, how could he possibly be a match for the three of us?"

Golden-Winged Great Peng also said, "I said I would send them across the mountain just now out of concern for my Big Brother's life, but I will absolutely not send them now. Even if I don't eat Tang Sanzang's Flesh, my Yin-Yang Treasure Vase Monkey's hands, how can I let them cross the mountain?"

Green Lion said, "Alright, then let's muster our Troops and wait for that Monkey to come again, then we'll fight him for real!"

The two demons were overjoyed.

Golden-Winged Great Peng went back to set his bones and had them bandaged, but that's another story.

On the other side, Wukong rode the cloud towards Tang Sanzang. Halfway there, he saw a billowing demonic fog and thick black clouds ahead; the billowing demonic fog darkened the sky, and the thick black clouds shrouded the ground in gloom. Demon Tiger roamed east and west, while eagle monsters and poisonous owls flew up and down; a nine-headed giant python could breathe fire, and a one-eyed monster bull was good at spreading plague; foxes, badgers, apes, and cunning lions wielded Suanni and spears, displaying their ferocity. They blew sand and stirred the wind to summon many soldiers, who surrounded the mountain from all directions.

Upon seeing this, Wukong was greatly alarmed, wondering where all these fierce and vicious monsters had come from. So he dared not show himself and hid in the clouds, watching secretly.

There were no fewer than twenty or thirty thousand demons, who all went up Lion Camel Ridge and surrounded Lion Camel Cave from all sides.

At the heart of the demon horde, surrounding a few people, were none other than Tang Sanzang, Bajie, and Sha Wujing.

Wukong wondered to himself, "Why has my master been captured by Demon again?"

Looking closer, they discovered that Tang Sanzang and his companions had no Rope or shackles on them, and a man was walking in front of them—it was Ao Tu.

Wukong breathed a sigh of relief, thinking to himself, "So it was him."

Since that's the case, Master's life is no longer in danger.

Wukong continued to follow, listening intently to their conversation. When he heard Bajie talking about avenging him, he guessed that the idiot had seen him being eaten by Demon and said he was dead, and somehow found Ao Tu to avenge him.

Wukong felt both angry and deeply moved.

Enraged, the fool couldn't distinguish truth from falsehood and said he was dead; moved, the fool, usually lazy, was now willing to put in the effort to hire so many people to avenge him.

Wukong wanted to go down and explain things, but he didn't dare to go down easily. As the saying goes, it's easy to invite a god but hard to send him away. Tang Sanzang and his two companions were easy to talk to, but that Demon Dragon was a troublesome one and not easy to get rid of. Who knows, it might stay for several more years.

Actually, staying there for a few years wouldn't be a problem, it's just that it's taking too long.

Now that they are about to reach Spirit Mountain and achieve Right Fruit, Wukong also wants to accomplish his goal as soon as possible.

While Wukong was pondering his words, before he could think further, the demons had already gone up the mountain and arrived near the Lion Camel Cave.

From the air, Wukong saw that the three Demon Heads were currently mustering their troops in front of the cave!

They had previously agreed to carry Tang Sanzang across the mountain in a sedan chair, but now they're mustering Troops; it's clear they're going to renege on their promise and challenge them to war.

Upon seeing this, Wukong was furious that these three Demon Heads had broken their promise. He glanced at Ao Tu and the other demons who were about to approach and thought that it would be difficult for him to fight these three Demon Heads. It would be better to let Ao Tu take the lead. That Demon Dragon had many Magic Treasure and great Supernatural Ability, and he was the one who suffered the most every day. Now it was time for others to have a taste of its own medicine. He could come down after capturing these three Demon Heads.

Thinking this, Wukong remained motionless on the cloud.

Below, Ao Tu led the demons up the mountain and saw the Lion Camel Cave in the distance. He then ordered the demons to lie in ambush in all directions and await his commands.

Upon hearing this, all the demons vanished.

Ao Tu then led Tang Sanzang and his companions toward the Lion Camel Cave.
