The Three Tomoe Sharingan activated, and Liu Feng instantly swept his gaze across the surroundings, taking in everything nearby.

"They're here."

Liu Feng's gaze immediately locked onto the two figures who had suddenly appeared. With Kumogakure forehead protectors on their heads, they rushed swiftly toward Kushina.

"Let's first see what you're made of."

Four small shuriken flew from Liu Feng's hand, each one tied to a thin steel wire so fine that it was difficult to notice.

As the shuriken flew, Liu Feng flicked his wrist and controlled them through the wires. All four shuriken simultaneously shot toward the vital points of the ninja reaching for Kushina.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

The four shuriken instantly took that ninja's life.

"They weren't that weak, were they?"

Liu Feng was somewhat surprised. He had thought the enemy would be able to dodge.

"Then again, capturing a five-year-old Ninja Academy student really doesn't require powerful ninja."

Lightning Style: Chidori!

In an instant, Liu Feng's palm pierced through the other ninja's chest.

"Whew, it's over." Looking thoroughly frightened, Kushina hurried over to Liu Feng and hugged him tightly.

"You're shaking like a little quail."

Liu Feng lowered his head and teased her.

"I... I'm not scared." Kushina stubbornly denied it, but she still refused to let go of Liu Feng.

She was still just a child. Even if she had prepared herself mentally beforehand, there was no way she could not be afraid after facing something like this.

"Hold on tight. It's not over yet," Liu Feng whispered in Kushina's ear.

As for why Liu Feng was certain it was not over, the mission had not been completed yet, which meant there were still enemies.

Kushina, who was hugging Liu Feng, raised her head and looked at his face so close to hers. Her little face reddened slightly. This bad guy was actually pretty handsome.

Liu Feng had no idea what Kushina was thinking. The enemy supposedly hiding in the darkness still had not shown himself.

"Oh, you won't come out? Fine, then I'm leaving. If you miss this chance, you won't get another one."

After saying that, Liu Feng turned to leave. The instant he turned around, killing intent emerged.

A blade slashed toward Liu Feng's back, its wielder showing no mercy at all.

The enemy's attack was fast, but how could Liu Feng, who had prepared for it long ago, possibly be caught?

He studied the other man. He wore a Kumogakure forehead protector, but was he really a Cloud Ninja?

He had come to Konoha while brazenly wearing a Kumogakure forehead protector. Wasn't he afraid the Konoha Ninja wouldn't know he was a Cloud Ninja? It was far too suspicious.

Whether he was a real Cloud Ninja or a fake one, Liu Feng would definitely deal with him and complete his mission.

"Kushina, get down first."

Liu Feng whispered in Kushina's ear.

Kushina looked at Liu Feng blankly, like a stunned little goose. She had not heard what Liu Feng had just said at all.

She had been so captivated by Liu Feng's face that she had started swooning and missed his words.

Although Liu Feng had cut off one of his arms, the man had not made a sound from beginning to end. He was impressively tough, and Liu Feng could not help admiring him somewhat.

Admiration aside, he still had to die.

Using the Lightning Body Flicker Technique, Liu Feng thrust the kunai in his hand toward the Cloud Ninja's heart.

"You still want to resist?"

Liu Feng looked at the Cloud Ninja, who was desperately blocking his kunai. When that strike failed, Liu Feng immediately withdrew and retreated, then unleashed Fire Style: Majestic Fire Annihilation.
