After Minato’s death, Liu Feng kept Kirigakure out of Kumogakure’s war and dealt with the moon’s Otsutsuki, Nagato, and Hagoromo. As life in Kirigakure continued, Obito told Liu Feng that Itachi had agreed to massacre the Uchiha clan, and Liu Feng offered the Branch Family refuge in the Land of Water.

• Minato Namikaze sealed the Yang Nine-Tails inside Naruto Uzumaki and died, while Hiruzen Sarutobi resumed power and Uchiha Fugaku accused Liu Feng of the attack.
• Mei Terumi helped clear Liu Feng’s name, and Liu Feng agreed to keep Kirigakure out of Kumogakure’s war in exchange for half the gains.
• Hizashi Hyuga died after capturing a Cloud Ninja while seeking Hinata Hyuga, and Liu Feng later killed the Otsutsuki Branch Family Head who came to Kirigakure for her.
• Liu Feng traveled to the moon, killed Otsutsuki Toneri, and took Kushina, Mikoto, Konan, and Hinata to see the Moon Interior before using the Giant Tenseigan’s power to help Mikoto awaken the Rinnegan.
• Orochimaru revealed that he had joined the Akatsuki Organization and sought the Rinnegan, but Liu Feng showed him his own Rinnegan and gave him the Otsutsuki Branch Family Head’s corpse to study.
• Nagato sent the Six Paths of Pain to Kirigakure for Liu Feng and Konan, but Liu Feng defeated Nagato and accepted Uchiha Madara’s supposed belongings in exchange for sparing him.
• Liu Feng fought and killed Hagoromo Otsutsuki, earning Six Paths power and Chakra from the system.
• Obito told Liu Feng that Itachi had agreed to massacre the Uchiha clan, and Liu Feng instructed him to offer the Uchiha Branch Family refuge in the Land of Water.

Liu Feng’s invitation drew some Uchiha from Konoha, but the clan’s attempted rebellion ended in massacre and Itachi’s flight. Years later, Liu Feng helped Pakura take revenge on Rasa and brought Kirigakure’s delegation to Konoha, where Naruto learned who his father was and Hinata reunited with Hanabi.

• Uchiha No led fifteen clansmen to Kirigakure, while Fugaku secretly opposed departures before agreeing to rebel against Konoha.
• Itachi and Obito massacred the Uchiha, and Fugaku fought Itachi before dying as Konoha’s forces killed the fleeing clansmen.
• Hiruzen apologized to Liu Feng for the massacre, and Liu Feng later allowed Uchiha No to confront Itachi before driving Nagato away when he intervened.
• Five years later, Liu Feng accompanied Pakura to the Land of Wind, where she killed Rasa to avenge herself and Orochimaru planned to impersonate him.
• Liu Feng brought Kushina, Konan, Hinata, and Kirigakure Genin to Konoha for the Chunin Exams, and Hinata chose to stay with Kirigakure despite Hiashi’s demand.
• Liu Feng revealed to Naruto that Minato was his father and gave him a scroll, while Hiruzen later sent Jiraiya to approach Naruto as the Chunin Exams proceeded.
• Hanabi sneaked out to visit Hinata, and Kushina teased her before Konan returned with Hinata and the sisters reunited.

Liu Feng helped bring the Hyuga clan to Kirigakure after Konoha’s fall, then watched Akatsuki’s moves while Kirigakure dealt with the tailed beasts. The arc left Kushina in possession of the Six Paths Ninja Tools after defeating the Fourth Raikage.

• Naruto defeated Neji in the Chunin Exams, then Orochimaru launched his attack on Konoha while Liu Feng warned Kushina to protect Hinata and the Kirigakure Genin.
• Liu Feng destroyed the Shinigami and broke the Four Violet Flames Formation, but Orochimaru killed Hiruzen and escaped before the Hyuga clan joined Kirigakure.
• Jiraiya became Hokage, Tsunade attacked Orochimaru over his use of her grandfathers’ souls, and Liu Feng healed Rock Lee.
• Mei Terumi planned to use the Akatsuki threat to weaken other villages, while Pain’s forces targeted Naruto and Liu Feng intervened in the battle at the Land of Rivers.
• Liu Feng cut apart Nagato’s Chibaku Tensei and defeated Deva Path Pain, but Naruto refused Jiraiya’s offer to return to Konoha.
• Liu Feng removed the Three-Tails from Yagura and sold it, along with the Five-Tails and Six-Tails, to Obito, though the Five-Tails escaped.
• The Fourth Raikage asked Liu Feng for help against Akatsuki, but Liu Feng refused, so Kushina and Konan pursued the Raikage and took the Six Paths Ninja Tools after Kushina defeated him.

The Akatsuki captured Naruto and extracted the Nine-Tails, while Liu Feng brought Sunagakure under Kirigakure’s control. As Obito revived the Ten-Tails and attacked Konoha, Liu Feng confronted the revived Hokage and joined the battle, where Obito killed Minato and overpowered Kakashi.

• Ōnoki, the Fourth Raikage, Danzo, and Grandma Chiyo captured Naruto as bait, but Nagato led the Akatsuki Organization and resurrected Kage in an assault on his prison.
• Obito took Nagato and the Nine-Tails after the battle, where Deidara killed Kakuzu and Grandma Chiyo in a self-destruction, and Jiraiya returned to Konoha seeking answers from Danzo.
• Liu Feng, Kushina, and Pakura traveled to Sunagakure, where Ebizo and the Jonin agreed to submit the village to Kirigakure, and Liu Feng left Pakura to suppress resistance.
• Obito took Nagato’s Rinnegan, revived the Ten-Tails, and set his forces toward Konoha, while Liu Feng learned that Uchiha Madara had also been revived.
• Liu Feng confronted the revived Hokage in Konoha, killed Uchiha Itachi and destroyed Senju Tobirama’s soul, then joined the allied shinobi against the approaching Ten-Tails.
• Obito sealed the Ten-Tails inside himself, and Tsunade fought him with Sage Art Wood Style while Liu Feng burned Sasuke to ashes after Sasuke attacked him.
• Obito killed Minato and defeated Kakashi as Madara waited for an opportunity to take control, while Liu Feng suspected Hagoromo Otsutsuki had influenced the Tailed Beasts.
