In an illusory world of light and shadow, a towering blue throne stood opposite a purple throne that seemed forged from purple gold, like two mountain peaks.
The bodies upon the thrones were concealed beneath layers of shadow, with only their eyes meeting.
"It has been a long time, Blue Throne. What did you want to discuss?" The demonic body above the purple throne spoke with a voice like thunder.
"The Advent War, naturally," Blue Throne said. "Isn't that what we have both been running ourselves ragged over these past days?"
"Yes." Purple Throne said, "I had contacted the beings within the Great Nightmare Wasteland Village, but Nightmare Wraith Creatures are difficult to control. They caused a disturbance as soon as they awakened. Now they have drawn that demonic monk over to suppress them, so little can be accomplished in the short term. Fortunately, the Advent War is still some time away, leaving us enough time to remedy this. I intend to arrange some realm invasions near the Cicada-Chiming Ancient Temple to draw the demonic monk's attention and loosen his control over the Great Nightmare Wasteland Village."
"My contact with the Whale-Swallowing Demon Sea has been going smoothly, but I have encountered some problems with the East Sea Dragon Hall," Blue Throne said slowly.
Of the White Demon Cult's seven Thrones, four were hidden in the Human Realm, including these two.
Blue Throne handled intelligence work in the Four Seas Dragon Palace, while Purple Throne was responsible for the Northern Three Continents. They occasionally cooperated, but spent most of their time attending to their own affairs.
Today, Blue Throne had taken the initiative to contact Purple Throne to seek his help.
