Fifty miles west of the Celestial Phenomenon Kingdom's capital lay a secluded valley enclosed by cliffs on all sides.
At some unknown time, a broad, circular stone platform had appeared in the valley. A layer of hazy clouds shrouded it, making it impossible for anyone outside to see what lay within.
A figure in black robes, resembling a human, arrived. After looking around, he formed a hand seal and dispersed the mist above the stone platform.
As the mist cleared, the intricate formation patterns carved into it were immediately revealed.
The black-robed figure stepped forward, took large purple spirit stone crystals from his storage artifact, and fitted them into the formation's grooves. The skin of his arms, exposed as he worked, was an eerie white.
