Higher Education Committee
Kronos's statement makes sense. Even if the Higher Education Committee could use Kronos's idea to establish a joint Research Base with Backlund Technical University, it would be under the name of Backlund Technical University and have nothing to do with Backlund Technical College.
Many students were not discouraged, because the practical classes for senior students are usually in the afternoon, while the students who are currently at the Research Center have signed contracts with the Research Center and will work there after graduation.
Kronos suddenly Consciousness this as well. Although the upgrade of the Research Center had nothing to do with them, the students of the technical college, it was a significant improvement for the researchers at this materials Research Base.
It's like going from a private company's Laboratory to a national key Research Base —that's a qualitative leap!
Even so, Kronos remained firm. "You'll know when it's your turn. Right now, it's not a question of whether you should know or not. Things aren't even completely settled yet, so don't go asking around or spreading rumors. If it causes any problems, you'll be in trouble."
Having said all he needed to say, Kronos didn't linger with the students any longer and went straight up to the second floor, returning to his research room.
Although Kronos is currently at the Materials Research Center, he is not actually focusing his energy on researching New Materials, but rather on studying the Justiciar Card.
Kronos could clearly sense that although he had created several new Scroll, the Potion's digestion rate was still not as fast as when he was Warlock.
After careful analysis, Kronos roughly understood the reason.
Although Kronos was initially limited by his Family Secret Manual and unable to create new Spell during Sequence 7, he continued to play the role of Warlock.
But things are different now. Marquis Argel specifically spoke with Kronos, telling him that he cannot reveal his strength.
Although it is unknown whether the current Royal Family still cares about this matter, the Marquis Argel throughout history have known that there have always been Royal Family spies lurking around them, and the Royal Family has never truly trusted the Argel Family.
Kronos possesses a cheat code, making him very confident that he can reach the level of Demigod, Angel, or even True God. He believes that the power of the Augustus Family is something he can definitely surpass, but for him and the Argel Family, it is an insurmountable mountain.
So, to avoid further trouble, Kronos agreed to Marquis Argel, and thus, apart from his family, only Professor Portland knew about it.
This means that Kronos cannot fully play his role.
Although Kronos now holds the title of Associate Professor and has a greater understanding of Potion, the essence of Scroll Professor should be instruction, specifically occult knowledge, and even the knowledge of Scroll making.
According to their Ancestor ' records, in the Moses Ascetic Order, those who reach Sequence 6 begin to take on apprentices. This serves two purposes: it strengthens the lower ranks of the organization and accelerates the development of these key figures.
The Argel Family also encourages people to consider marriage and have children as soon as possible after the Speech-Ban Period is lifted, so that they can properly teach their offspring once they become Scroll Professor.
Kronos's father was a case in point; from the time he was old enough to understand, all his knowledge was learned under his father's tutelage, which greatly accelerated the Marquis Argel's assimilation of knowledge.
But Kronos is an exception. The Speech-Ban Period had only ended for half a year. For most people, they would have only just begun to grasp the basics of Melee Scholar, yet he was already Scroll Professor.
This pace has made the Marquis Argel less concerned about arranging a marriage for his son. What if a woman hinders his son's ability to draw his sword? So he'll wait another two years.
Therefore, Kronos is currently only benefiting from the bonus of being an Associate Professor, so his Potion digestion speed is naturally very slow.
With no other option, Kronos could only speed things up by researching new Scroll. Each new Scroll that appeared in Kronos's hands could significantly advance the program.
Therefore, Kronos is now focusing all his energy on creating Scroll in order to quickly digest his Potion.
Since the Sequence 6 and below of the Justiciar Card are already completely clear, Kronos's main attention is on Sequence 5.
Creating something beyond one's level requires considerable skill; even the Marquis Argel only recently became capable of creating Sequence 5 Scroll, and with an extremely low success rate.
So Kronos has already spent more than a month on this, but he's still stuck at a stage where he only has a superficial understanding.
Fortunately, Sequence 5 of the Justiciar Pathway is quite special, as almost all abilities are advancements from Sequence 6. Therefore, Kronos didn't waste his time entirely, as the Scroll skills were at least more powerful.
For two days straight, Kronos didn't even leave the house, focusing solely on researching skills.
The Butler and valet, who were originally in Empress Borough, arrived at the Research Center the following morning.
This was arranged by Kronos, because he was going to the Higher Education Committee that afternoon.
He couldn't possibly go through the unkempt past; after all, he was a nobleman, the heir to Marquis.
The arrival of the professional team saved Kronos a lot of trouble; he no longer needed to make any choices and could simply let them do as they pleased.
In less than two hours, the unkempt mad scientist had transformed back into the handsome aristocratic heir.
They rode in their own carriage, heading towards the Higher Education Committee.
The Higher Education Committee is located in the West Borough of Backlund, an area with many government agencies radiating outwards from the Prime Minister's Office.
Education remains very important in this era, so the Higher Education Committee has a very good location, overlooking the Tussock River, with a direct view of the Prime Minister's Office from its windows.
After Kronos arrived, he went straight inside.
Actually, he didn't know where the meeting was being held today, but he had a good plan. Such an important government department couldn't just come and go as it pleased. As long as someone stopped him, he could easily find out the location of the meeting.
It has to be said that this was a rather cunning move, but Kronos didn't anticipate one thing: the building's doorman and security guards knew him.
It wasn't that he actually knew him; it was just that Kronos arrived in his own carriage, which bore his family's coat of arms.
The Argel Family crest should have been obscure knowledge for these people, since they might not even know the family name.
However, ever since Kronos was brought to the forefront by Prime Minister Aguesid Negan, the name Argel and the family crest have come into the view of many people.
This was the case this time; recognizing the family crest, no one stopped him, and Kronos swaggered into the Higher Education Committee building.
This was quite awkward; Kronos stood in the lobby of the Higher Education Committee, looking completely bewildered.
Where to go? Kronos had no idea where the meeting was, what the meeting was called, or even which department was in charge of it. He didn't even know how to find out.
Just as Kronos stood in the hall in a daze, a well-dressed man approached and tentatively asked, "Are you Professor Argel?"
Kronos now has many titles. From his family's perspective, he can be called Lord Argel; from the military's perspective, he can be called Major Argel or Major Kronos; in business, he can be called Boss Argel; and the title Professor Argel must have come from the education sector.
Kronos immediately Consciousness that this person must have been waiting for him here.
"That's right, I am Kronos Argel. And you are?" Kronos's demeanor was naturally very proper.
"Professor Argel, I am the Secretary to Mr. Kask Wolf, a member of the Higher Education Committee. Professor Portland said he hadn't explained the details of the meeting to you, so he specifically asked me to come here to greet you."
Kronos immediately cheered, realizing that he, a socially awkward person, wouldn't need to go around asking people for directions.
"Hurry up and lead the way!"
Kronos followed the Secretary from the first-floor lobby to the door of a room on the third floor.
The Secretary knocked lightly on the door and then pushed it open and entered.
After Kronos followed him in, a long table came into view, around which sat more than twenty people, all dressed in suits and ties.
At the very top of the long table sat two middle-aged or elderly people, one of whom Kronos recognized as his "best friend," Professor Portland.
The other one looked slightly younger Portland, and while he wasn't exactly refined, he was still very gentle.
The Secretary then told Kronos to stand still before walking towards the middle-aged man.
Based on his previous account, this person should be the one he serves, the director of the Higher Education Committee — Kask Wolf.
Kronos was certain he had never seen this person before, but for some reason, the name sounded familiar, as if he had heard it somewhere before.
The Secretary walked up to Director Kask Wolf and bent down to report something.
Following this report, the previously noisy room quieted down. The people who had been focused on the meeting's agenda realized there was another person in the room once the noise subsided.
