Kronos pursed his lips, clearly not trusting Sharf's inexplicable self-confidence.

However, Sharf had no time to care about Kronos's attitude and began studying the Parasitic Bone in his hand and 2-081.

These two items were originally meant by Kronos to shut Sharf up, so Kronos didn't pay much attention to them and found a place to sit down.

Kronos admired this about Sharf: he was "crazy" about things that interested him.

He stood there studying it for over an hour.

In the end, it was Kronos who intervened and snatched the two Beyonder Item, which brought Sharf back to his senses.

Moving his stiff legs, Sharf said with a reproachful look, "Why are you taking it? It's not like I'm not going to give it to you."

Kronos toyed with the two items in his hands and said, "It's fine for you to study, but not now. I have something more important for you to do."

Sharf's attention was clearly still on the two items, and he casually asked, "What is it? Tell me."

Kronos immediately put away what he was holding and then took out a Mask from the bag on his back.

Sharf clearly had excellent eyesight; he immediately recognized that the Mask was not simple.

Then, Kronos recounted the origins of the Death God Mask to Sharf in great detail, starting with the Wolf Family, his assessment of the Mask, and everything that happened on Damir Island.

Sharf, standing nearby, was stunned. This must be a made-up story!

But looking at the face that Kronos recognized, and based on the Information he had deduced, all the facts indeed told him that there was indeed a drop of Ancient God's blood inside this Mask.

"So what do you want me to do?" Sharf asked.

Kronos thought for a moment and then said, "I want you to help me figure out a way to extract that drop of blood from the Phoenix Ancestor. I'm useful."

Sharf looked at the Mask, pondered for a moment, and said, "At all costs? This drop of blood has already fused with the entire Mask. If you want to extract this blood, you'll have to use some drastic measures. I can't guarantee the outcome, but there's a high chance you'll get neither the Mask nor the blood."

This was certainly not what Kronos wanted, so he immediately refused. "If that's the most likely outcome, then forget it."

Then Kronos continued, "If that's the case, then I'd appreciate it if you could help me accelerate the fusion of the blood and the Mask. I hope it can become a powerful and Beyonder Item, so I won't lose out."

At this point, Sharf became very excited, turning the Mask over and over to look at it, muttering something that Kronos couldn't understand.

After a while, Sharf looked up at Kronos and asked, "You should know that at this level, my role is very small; I can only play a supporting role."

Kronos nodded. It was quite normal for a drop of blood from a Dual Pathway Ancient God to elevate an item to the level of Demigod, so the Artisan could only assist.

Seeing Kronos nod, Sharf continued, "Then tell me what your requirements are, and I'll try my best to help."

Kronos thought for a moment, then said, "I wonder if it's possible to store as many Apprentice Pathway abilities as possible; I think the abilities from this Pathway are very convenient."

"Convenient? Teleportation?" Sharf countered.

Kronos nodded and said, "Spatial Concealment is quite good. I've heard it's even possible to create a separate space specifically for storing things."

Sharf had no idea, because he didn't even know what abilities the Demigod of this Pathway possessed.

So Kronos began to explain it to him; he had learned about this ability from the "Saint of Secrets," Botis, in the original work.

Using the Secrets Sorcerer's Spatial Concealment abilities, a region Distortion and isolated in the Spirit World. By utilizing the overlap between the Spirit World and reality, the door to that hidden region was opened in his pocket.

After listening to Kronos's explanation, Sharf shook his head. "All I can say is, I'll do my best."

Kronos understood the implication and pressed for an explanation.

"The reason this Mask was able to attract this drop of blood is mainly because it possesses the aura of a high-ranking member of the Death Pathway, making this Mask actually more suitable for the abilities of this Pathway."

"Teleportation isn't a big problem, because that ability isn't high-level. But Spatial Concealment, which you mentioned, is a different story. That's an ability that only Demigod can control, and I really can't guarantee that I can draw it out."

After hearing Sharf's explanation, Kronos understood.

If he had chosen the Demigod- level ability through the Death Pathway, it might have been easier to obtain, but the Door Pathway might not be so, because the versions of this Mask are not very compatible.

So Kronos said to Sharf, "Let's try our best. The main problem is that I don't understand the abilities of the Death Pathway, and I don't know where to place the endpoint."

"Sequence 4 of the Death Pathway is called the Undying, which means dying once every sixty years and then Resurrection once. I wouldn't have any use for that ability."

After listening to Kronos's words, Sharf said, "Then I'll do my best. Fortunately, it's only one drop of blood, so I still have a lot of options inside."

After the conversation ended, Sharf went into his Workshop and ignored Kronos.

Kronos didn't mind and was happy to be free.

The next morning, Kronos left Sharf's Home without wearing armor.

Today he's going to the Bayam Navy Base. Since he's in Bayam, he should at least pay a visit to Amyrius; otherwise, it would be impolite.

Of course, the main purpose was to obtain information about Cattleya.

After arriving at the Navy Base Gate, Kronos immediately asked the person at the gate to contact Secretary Lü Er'an and tell him that Klein had come to visit.

Klein's name had already spread throughout the Navy Base, so when the people at the gate heard it, they stared at Kronos in surprise for a long time before going in to make contact.

This is because Kronos wanted to contact Lü Er'an; if he had said he wanted to contact Amyrius, no one would have paid him any attention.

Before long, Lü Er'an returned with that person.

"Secretary Lü Er'an, it's been a long time." Kronos approached with a fake smile, even wanting to give Lü Er'an a hug.

But Lü Er'an decisively dodged, then asked with a serious expression, "What are you going to do?"

Kronos replied, "Now that I'm back in Bayam, of course I should pay a visit to General Amyrius. Is that alright?"

Lü Er'an glanced at him, then said, "Come in with me."

Kronos didn't care about Lü Er'an's attitude and followed him directly into the Navy Base.

The two were silent as they walked toward Amyrius's office.

But Lü Er'an suddenly spoke up, "I've done some private investigation into your family, and I think your family is a big problem. General Amyrius already has a lot of trouble, and I hope you won't add any more burden to him."

Lü Er'an had thought about it for a long time before saying these words to him, but he didn't expect that Kronos would not respond at all and wouldn't say a word.

Lü Er'an stopped and turned around to repeat himself to Kronos, but Kronos didn't even glance at him and walked straight past him.

This action angered Lü Er'an. He had originally intended to persuade them, as he didn't believe Amyrius could help the Argel Family.

But Kronos's repeated neglect made him really uncomfortable.

Lü Er'an reached out and grabbed Kronos, then asked, "What do you mean?"

Kronos's expression and eyes remained unchanged as he asked calmly, "What... what do you mean?"

"Are you Amyrius's father? Or his son? You seem to know Amyrius quite well. Why don't you tell Amyrius to say this to me personally?"

Afterwards Kronos slapped Lü Er'an's hand away and continued walking forward, saying as he went, "Being a Secretary requires a lot of worrying, even helping your own general decide on future plans. Pretty impressive."

Lü Er'an's actions were meaningful to Kronos; at least he realized that Amyrius was showing a bit too much concern for him.

His Elder Brother, Earl Levett, had specifically arranged to meet him to inquire about his relationship with Amyrius, and now his Secretary had also approached him, saying these words.

It's unclear whether Amyrius made them Consciousness this unintentionally or intentionally.

I wonder if anyone other than his close friends and family would have the same opinion.

The most important factor is the Augustus Family. If they also share this view, then the surveillance of the Argel Family might be escalated to a higher level. If that happens, the Marquis Argel's plans in the Midseashire would be greatly exposed.

Although he didn't know if the Royal Family would do the same, Kronos still hoped to nip such a thing in the bud.

After entering Amyrius's office, Amyrius began working at his desk, and Kronos, unhurried, sat down opposite him.

After a long while, Amyrius finally finished what he was doing and looked up at Kronos.

"You arrived in Bayam so publicly, are you really going to inherit the Starship Ranger title?"

Kronos casually remarked, "Of course, I don't even need to personally promote this name, and besides, the name isn't bad."

Amyrius smiled and then said, "Tell me, what is the purpose of your visit?"

Kronos waved his hand. "No rush. I'll explain my purpose later. Let's talk about something more important first."

Amyrius silent, clearly waiting for Kronos to bring it up.

"Your admiration for me has been a bit too direct. Not to mention others, even your brother and your Secretary think you want to form Alliance with the Argel Family to do something. This isn't a good situation, neither for you nor for the Argel Family."

Amyrius showed no reaction to what Kronos said; in fact, he even had a smile on his lips.

Kronos's eyes narrowed. "You did this on purpose? You're trying to frame our family?"

At this point, Amyrius finally spoke, "Do you know who knows me best in the entire Loen Kingdom?"

Amyrius asked the question, but Kronos did not answer, only waiting for what was to come.

Seeing that Kronos didn't respond, Amyrius had no choice but to continue himself, "They are not my two biological brothers, because since we came of age, we have had very few opportunities to meet each year, let alone have a heart-to-heart talk."

"It couldn't possibly be Lü Er'an. He was very rude to you just now, and I apologize on his behalf. That's because, although I trusted him a lot, I still kept many things from him, which led to his misjudgment."

"Actually, the person who knows me best is a member of the Augustus Family. I don't know if you've heard of him, but his name is Grove Augustus."

Kronos must have heard of this name: Prince of Sonia of the Loen Kingdom, a strong supporter of George III's ascension to the Black Emperor, who appeared during George III's Apotheosis Ritual and fought against Trissy.

Seeing the slight change in Kronos's eyes, Amyrius knew that Kronos knew this person, so he didn't wait for Kronos's reply and continued speaking on his own.

"That was after I reached Sequence 5. One day, this person appeared in my life. We didn't have much interaction; we've only met a few times so far."

"He used Hypnosis -like techniques to extract all the Information from me, not just what I outwardly expressed, but even the thoughts that had only crossed my mind."

Upon hearing this, Kronos was shocked. Was this Prince of Sonia really that unconventional? His methods were a bit too crude.

Amyrius spoke these words without the slightest emotional fluctuation, as if the matter had nothing to do with him.

"After that day, my position rose rapidly, and there were no more so-called promotion bottlenecks. Then, after I finished digesting the Sequence 5 Potion, the Imperative Mage's Potion was delivered to me."

Kronos asked, "What is this? A loyalty test?"

Amyrius replied, "Because of my special background—all the Demigod in the military come from commoner or minor noble families, but I am backed by an Earl —I was prepared for them to test me."

"Therefore, the person who understands me best in this world is Prince Grove."

Amyrius smiled and said, "As long as my behavior aligns with his understanding, the Royal Family family won't suspect you."

"But why did you do that? Keeping a low profile was clearly the best option," Kronos said, his tone tinged with accusation.

Amyrius said nonchalantly, "Nothing can be completely kept secret. If you want my help, then you must have a reason for helping you."

"Now that I've shown you my appreciation, it'll be perfectly natural for me to lend a hand when you need it. That's much simpler than trying to find a reason later."

Kronos fell silent. He acknowledged Amyrius's words, but he believed Amyrius was hiding something.

That makes sense. As a Demigod- level military leader, it's normal for Amyrius to express Goodwill, but once they've truly Alliance, how could he possibly be controlled by Kronos?
