Infiltration
Amyrius sought help from Kronos after investigating everything mainly because he felt Kronos was very mysterious.
Back then, he was only a Sequence 7 cultivator, yet he was able to offer Sequence 3 Potion Formula and Advancement Ritual to win him over.
In such a short time, he had progressed all the way from Sequence 7 to Sequence 4, and after this meeting, Amyrius suspected that Kronos had already reached Sequence 3.
With such a rapid pace of development, Amyrius certainly wouldn't believe it if he said there were no secrets involved.
So when faced with such a mysterious force, Amyrius Consciousness thought of asking it for help, because no one else could necessarily help him.
Kronos did not disappoint Amyrius; although the Information he provided was edited and abridged, it was still of great value.
After a moment's hesitation, Amyrius asked, "If I choose to fight them, I'll most likely be transferred. What if I choose to remain inactive?"
Amyrius certainly didn't want to return to Backlund.
Although he may occasionally reminisce about his life in Backlund, he would certainly be unwilling to give up his current power.
Kronos shrugged and said, "How should I know? I'm not part of this mysterious force."
What if I join them?
Kronos was somewhat surprised, because he hadn't expected Amyrius to ask such a question.
After thinking for a moment, Kronos replied, "If you really have this idea, I might be able to introduce you to someone."
"But I must warn you, this faction will likely welcome you, but once you join, leaving won't be so easy."
"The leader of this force is very powerful; you have little chance of being able to go against His will."
Facing Adam, Amyrius was no stronger than an ant; it was highly unlikely that he could outwardly comply but inwardly defy him, or find an opportunity to escape.
Therefore, if you don't genuinely want to join, Kronos really doesn't recommend this solution.
Amyrius naturally understood what Kronos meant, and temporarily abandoned the idea.
In Kronos's view, if Amyrius completely inactive, the Twilight Hermit Order not actually make a move against him.
Sallandon's inherent limitations were too great, so even if Amyrius were transferred away, he could not become the supreme commander of the Central Sonia Sea Navy.
Since someone will always be in charge, it's better to let Amyrius, who has already "behaved," be in charge.
The main reason Kronos was interested in this idea was because it was profitable.
If Amyrius stays here, he will always have a chance to regain control. That's an entire Sonia Fleet, representing enormous power.
"Perhaps you could try to stop hindering their actions and gain a chance to stay, then consider your next move once the war breaks out."
Kronos offered his reasonable suggestion, Amyrius nodded in agreement after listening to it.
In fact, Amyrius had originally planned to put up a fight before Kronos arrived.
In the original storyline, he was Sequence 4 and had put up a fight. Now that he's Sequence 3, he naturally won't let Sallandon sideline him.
However, after obtaining information about Sallandon's backers from Kronos, he realized that he did not have the ability to resist.
If they don't know their place, they'll be transferred away from Bayam, and if they still don't know their place, they might be dealt with.
Having figured this out, Amyrius looked up and said, "Since I've decided to lie low, I need your help with something."
Kronos didn't try to evade the question, and said straightforwardly, "What is it? Speak."
"I intend to continue testing the waters behind Sallandon today, a kind of probing that reveals my identity, rather than simply surrendering and waiting to die—that's not in my nature."
"After testing the waters, it's perfectly reasonable to give up because one cannot withstand the opponent's power."
"I need you to Replication of Sallandon's personal seal while I'm keeping them completely occupied."
"If we can do that, it will be easier when we have a chance to turn things around."
Amyrius was, after all, a successful soldier, and he quickly devised a plan.
That mysterious force put Sallandon on its side as its spokesperson, and naturally, the means of controlling the army were mainly based on Sallandon's orders.
Once his personal seal Replication, it will be much easier to forge secret Message.
However, Amyrius had already tested Sallandon, who had two Demigod with him.
In addition to the Demigod responsible for keeping an eye on Amyrius, Amyrius now has to contend with three Demigod.
With the strength of Sequence 3, facing three Sequence 4 wouldn't be a big problem. Even if they couldn't defeat them, they wouldn't be completely powerless.
However, Amyrius is also a complete schemer, and has not shown his Sequence 3 strength to anyone so far, not even his most trusted Secretary.
Originally intended to guard against the Augustus Family, it has now become a trump card.
According to Amyrius's plan, he did not intend to reveal his true strength this time, but to keep it hidden until the moment of reversal.
When the time comes, by using Sarranid's personal seal to gather all of his faction and eliminate them all with lightning speed, he can regain control of the Sonia Fleet.
Amyrius briefly explained the idea and received support from Kronos, who was also willing to help.
After the two roughly discussed their plan of action, Amyrius returned to his residence.
Because of Auston's transfer, the Twilight Hermit Order relaxed their surveillance of Amyrius somewhat, but he still doesn't have much free time.
After Amyrius left, Kronos continued his research.
Late the next night, Kronos received Information Amyrius's actions and, without hesitation, went to the Navy Base.
Given Sallandon's status, he certainly owns property outside of Navy Base.
However, during this period, he lived at the Navy Base.
It's not that there's some conspiracy going on at night, it's mainly a matter of security at the Navy Base.
Despite having two Demigod protecting him, if Amyrius were determined to kill, even Sequence 4 Imperative Mage would have a considerable chance of success.
If it were at Navy Base, the safety chances would be greatly increased.
Kronos waited outside the Navy Base, waiting for Amyrius to throw the entire Navy Base into chaos.
Before long, a commotion broke out in the Navy Base.
The Sonia Fleet was, after all, the most elite navy in the Loen Kingdom, so the entire Navy Base was mobilized in an instant.
Immediately afterwards, Kronos saw Amyrius leave the Navy Base with two figures.
Using my Eyes of Mystery Prying to observe them briefly, although I couldn't pinpoint the exact Pathway, I could tell that they were two Demigod.
Amyrius successfully lured the two Demigod away; clearly, one of them remained guarding Sallandon.
This situation had already been taken into account, as this is the professional approach, so Kronos was not surprised.
Out of caution, Kronos did not use magic to conceal his presence, but instead used the Concealment Scarf.
This Beyonder Item item, imbued with the divinity of the Evernight Goddess, could even deceive the True God, let alone these ordinary taxi soldiers.
Kronos walked into the Navy Base as if it were nothing and headed towards Sallandon's location.
Sallandon was staying in the naval quarters at that time.
He was suddenly attacked, and he even knows who attacked him.
He had expected Amyrius to eventually turn against him, but he hadn't anticipated it would happen so soon, or so suddenly.
Based on his understanding of Amyrius, if Amyrius really wanted to make a move, even if he failed, he wouldn't have left him completely unharmed.
This attack was highly unusual; Amyrius didn't even manage to get close to him before the Demigod protecting him discovered it.
"Don't you think this attack was a bit too rough?" Sallandon asked.
On the sofa opposite him sat a middle-aged man who appeared to be very gentle; this was one of the Demigod who protected him.
The middle-aged man smiled and said, "He's not here to kill you. This attack can probably be considered a test."
"He knows you have a powerful force behind you, so he wants to test our strength."
Sallandon agreed with this statement.
The middle-aged man continued, "This is a good thing. I'm not afraid of him testing us; I'm afraid he'll directly cause trouble."
"Once you test him, he'll realize he has no chance."
"This is beneficial for us in sidelining him."
At that moment, Kronos stood beside the two men, quietly listening to their conversation.
Kronos did not deliberately activate his Eyes of Mystery Prying to investigate the middle-aged man's Sequence and Pathway, mainly for fear of attracting his attention.
However, Kronos could roughly determine that this should be a Demigod "Manipulator" of the Visionary Pathway, because his temperament was still somewhat obvious.
Kronos looked around and finally found the seal hanging on Sallandon's waist.
This makes things difficult, because there's a Demigod on the other side, and he's even Visionary Pathway. Any slight change will be detected.
Therefore, Kronos did not act rashly, but stood obediently to the side, listening to the two talking and waiting for an opportunity.
Sallandon asked with some concern, "Will you recruit Amyrius?"
Sallandon Twilight Hermit Order, because the organization was clearly not doing anything good.
But he certainly wouldn't want to Amyrius and take his place.
The middle-aged man opposite Sallandon chuckled and said, "You're overthinking it. This is a crucial moment; why would we let a stranger get involved?"
Adam had been orchestrating all of this a century in advance, having already calculated all the possible scenarios, so there was no need to bring in a "stranger" like Amyrius.
Hearing the middle-aged man's words, Sallandon felt relieved. As long as he still had value, the Twilight Hermit Order fulfill his promise.
The Twilight Hermit Order promise to restore his health and enable him to become Beyonder, a condition similar to the one Kronos had previously negotiated with Greenton.
It's either Angel from the Moon or the Mother Pathway who intervenes, or it's a Life Diamond. The Twilight Hermit Order very high terms to win over Sallandon.
Seeing through Sallandon's thoughts, the middle-aged man opposite him said, "Don't worry, we will definitely fulfill the conditions we promised you."
"As long as you follow our instructions from now on, we will definitely give you the health you desire."
The two chatted for a while, and then the two Demigod who had gone to chase Amyrius returned.
Without making any attempt to conceal their auras, Kronos immediately recognized one as Iron-Blooded Knight and the other as a Unshadowed.
The Twilight Hermit Order really took good care of Sallandon, sending him only powerful members of their Sequence.
Seeing the two return, Sallandon asked, "How was it? Are you sure it's Amyrius?"
The Iron-Blooded Knight spoke up, "It's confirmed, he even showed his face at the end."
The Manipulator frowned slightly, then asked, "He faced you directly? What did he say? How did you respond?"
The Iron-Blooded Knight said, "They didn't say much, just asked about our identities and purpose, but we didn't answer."
Sallandon said, "This doesn't seem like Amyrius at all."
Indeed, Amyrius has always had a rather strong personality.
If the surprise attack was intended to test the strength of Sallandon's entourage, then this act of proactively revealing himself and asking questions is somewhat puzzling.
They didn't know, but Kronos knew very well.
Amyrius was buying time for Kronos.
This is Bayam, a place where fighting is inherently difficult. Therefore, the two pursuers will stop immediately once they realize they cannot quickly subdue Amyrius.
But Amyrius felt he had to buy more time for Kronos, so he chose to show himself and talk to the two pursuers.
This approach is not easy for these people to understand.
This also sparked a series of discussions among these people.
Sallandon's tactical Master goes without saying, and the Visionary and the Red Priest also employed mental Pathway in a sense. Only the Unshadowed didn't participate.
After discussing it for a while, the three of them still couldn't come up with a definite answer, but they suspected that Amyrius probably had some other plans.
This is also because Kronos did not take any action; if he had taken even the slightest action, they would likely have analyzed it in this situation.
