Judgment
When this Message spread throughout the Five Seas, most Pirate were shocked.
Under the laws of the Pirate Duchy, a battle of this caliber always requires Nast's consent.
Furthermore, even if Nast agrees, it must be completed under the supervision of the Black Emperor and ultimately gain Nast's approval.
But they hadn't heard anything about the Black Emperor being involved in this incident.
So everyone was waiting for Nast to step forward and say something.
But they were destined never to receive that response.
Just as this Message spread Five Seas, a large ship resembling a city appeared near the Black Emperor.
The crew of the Black Emperor located Nast immediately upon spotting the large ship.
Having ruled this sea for so long, Nast naturally recognized the ship's identity immediately— the Ghost Empire.
Nast felt a great deal of joy when he recognized the ship.
As someone who inherited part of Solomon's estate, he naturally understood best what this level of inheritance meant.
Now he's facing the legacy of Trunsoest; wouldn't that make him even more powerful?
Just as he was fantasizing about whether he would have a chance to go further, a person appeared at the bow of the Ghost Empire's ship.
This person wore Dark Gold Crown and had five Wings of Light spreading out behind him. He just stared at the Black Emperor and Nast in front of him.
The man's sudden appearance made everyone on the Black Emperor feel somewhat uneasy.
Second Mate "Horror Viscount" Bird Mustang said, "Your Majesty, I have a feeling something is amiss. Let's leave."
But Nast suddenly laughed and said, "It's too late. Now that they've got their eyes on us, the Black Emperor isn't going to escape."
"You guys wait here, I'll go over and have a chat with him. We're old friends, he shouldn't be so ruthless."
Indeed, with Nast's keen eye, he naturally recognized Kronos.
Nast gently rose from the Black Emperor and drifted toward the Ghost Empire.
The Ghost Empire naturally has defensive measures in place, including measures to prevent outsiders from entering and anti-aircraft measures on its ships.
However, none of these methods were activated, and Nast simply drifted to Kronos's side.
If it's possible to avoid a fight, Kronos would prefer not to.
Both of them have reached this level of status; if they were to truly fight without restraint, attracting the attention of the True God would be inevitable.
Who knows if he'll reveal his identity to Stiano?
If that really happens, it would be a huge loss for Kronos.
After Nast landed beside Kronos, he said quietly, "The speed of your advancement is simply astonishing. If I'm not mistaken, you're Knowledge Emperor of Sequence One, aren't you?"
Kronos was not at all surprised that Nast could recognize the Knowledge Emperor.
Perhaps only three Knowledge Emperor have ever been born in this world: himself, Constantin of the Moses Ascetic Order, and Emperor Roselle.
Nast had met Emperor Roselle, so it's not surprising that he could see some similarities.
This crown is a very distinctive feature.
As for Kronos, he deliberately revealed this feature.
If this method can persuade Nast to refrain from taking action, Kronos wouldn't mind using it.
Seeing that Kronos remained silent, Nast continued, "What brings you here this time?"
"Do you want my head? Or something else? Can you tell me?"
Nast didn't want to fight either; after all, who would want to do something with a low chance of success?
Kronos declared, "I want the Pirate Duchy."
Nast's smile froze at those words.
Kronos's hoe has dug right up Nast's roots.
This duchy is Nast's means of maintaining his status, and also an opportunity for Nast to move forward. How could Nast possibly give it up?
Nast suppressed his anger and said gently, "Are you kidding me? This joke isn't funny!"
But Kronos said, "I'm not joking with you, I really do want Pirate Duchy."
Kronos then added, "It won't take too long, maybe two or three years will be enough."
"I will upgrade the Pirate Duchy to the Pirate King Kingdom, at which point you can still be the Grand Duke of your own duchy."
"If one day you have the opportunity to go further, I will entrust the entire Pirate King Kingdom to you and lend you a helping hand. What do you say?"
After Kronos said those words, Nast's attitude softened considerably.
After all, Kronos was very polite, and his words seemed to be for Nast's sake.
However, a softened attitude does not mean that Nast will agree.
"My faith comes from all the Pirate at sea. If I give up the Pirate Duchy, how can they continue to believe in me? What if something happens to me then?"
This was something that Kronos couldn't do anything about.
Pirate are just a bunch of people who do whatever they want; it's very difficult to get them to genuinely believe in someone.
Now, people only admire Nast's "great achievements," which is why they have a slight faith in Nast.
If Nast cedes the Pirate Duchy to Kronos, then there is a high probability that the "unfollowing" behavior will occur.
If Nast Loss of Control, Kronos really won't have much of a way to deal with it.
Seeing that Kronos remained silent, Nast smiled, "Since you can't, you can't convince me either."
Kronos said calmly, "It's not that there's no way, it's just that none of the methods can guarantee 100% safety, so I still can't convince you."
"Well, if that's the case, then we still have to take action."
Before Kronos could finish his last sentence, Nast had already delivered a powerful punch.
The Black Emperor Pathway already provides a strong boost to the physical body; this punch is far more powerful than a cannonball.
But Kronos neither dodged nor evaded, taking the punch head-on with his body.
With his omnipotent power, using the Red Priest's power was a piece of cake, so the steel-transformed Kronos was able to withstand the attack.
Just as that punch landed on Kronos, Nast felt as if his head was about to explode.
Kronos possessed an immense amount of knowledge, and if poured into Nast's head all at once, it would be more than enough to overwhelm him.
The next moment, Kronos sensed the Distortion power released by Nast.
He tried to Distortion Kronos's offensive intentions, allowing the knowledge to enter his mind more gently, rather than being forced in all at once.
Nast has a wealth of combat experience, so Kronos wouldn't underestimate him.
Once the Knowledge Emperor’s Power of Control was released, this Distortion force could hardly affect that knowledge anymore.
After all, there is a difference in status between the two.
At that moment, a suit of armor gleaming with the light of glory appeared directly on Nast's body.
This is one of Nast's trump cards – "Armor of Glory".
Originating from the Twilight Giant Pathway, Sequence Two, Glory, is one of the most combat-savvy Beyonder Item in its Sequence.
After the Armor of Glory appeared, Kronos felt his attacks were greatly hindered, since the primary function of armor is defense.
At the same time, Nester clenched his left fist and threw a punch.
This punch was imbued with countless radiant blades, which tore through everything around them, transforming into an orange-red Storm capable of destroying a Wasteland.
This is the power of the Glory; the Storm of Light and the Armor of Glory can be unleashed through any Pathway.
This level of attack is not something that Kronos can withstand simply by relying on the Replication Red Priest's skills.
With a gentle flap of his Wings of Light, Kronos instantly teleported Nast Kronos, dodging the attack.
This speed did not belong to Kronos himself, but was achieved by borrowing the power of the Worm of Star.
On the Ghost Empire, Kronos had already deployed Worm of Star in advance, which would make the battle go more smoothly.
After flashing behind Nast, Kronos made a grasping motion in the air, and a silver Revolver appeared in Kronos hand.
This is an Beyonder Item crafted with the corrupted Hand of Order— "Judgment."
Judgment: Corresponds to Sequence One, the Hand of Order.
Beyonder Ability: After Bullet is fired from the gun, the target hit by the Bullet will be subject to Judgment. The Judgment Standard are arbitrarily set by the user, and those who violate the rules will be hit in a vital spot by the Bullet.
Negative effects: Each use intensifies the user's connection with the Nation of Disorder; after three shots, pollution will Descent.
Kronos himself was not capable of creating such Beyonder Item; his success was thanks to Stiano.
He stole a Charm containing the divinity of Stiano from the Perfect Land.
This Charm is not for combat purposes, but rather for facilitating the creation of Beyonder Item.
Therefore, when they were in the Forsaken Land of the Gods, Kronos directly used this Charm on the Hand of Order.
Fortunately, it was used at that time, so Stiano didn't notice it.
Without the protection of True Creator, Kronos would inevitably be detected as soon as he used this Charm.
The Bullet from the Judgment left the barrel and shot straight into Nast's back.
Nast reacted quickly, dodging the bullet, but the distance between them was too close, so the Bullet still struck Nast's arm.
The instant the Bullet pierced his body, Kronos spoke, "No living person is allowed to wear armor here."
The Ghost Empire isn't just comprised of Nast in armor; there are also Skeleton Soldier, but those aren't living people, and they haven't been put on Judgment.
The Judgment took effect instantly; the wound on Nast's arm vanished in an instant, only to relocate to another spot the next second.
Nast himself had no idea what was happening; he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head, and a bullet hole appeared between his eyebrows.
For Angel, apart from their heads, there is no other part of their body that can be considered a vital organ.
Even so, it wouldn't directly lead to the death of an Angel. As long as Kronos doesn't continue, Nast can still survive.
After the Judgment was successful, Kronos immediately felt his connection with a mysterious entity deepen.
Without the slightest hesitation, Kronos immediately released his Authority of Time in an attempt to sever the connection.
Making contact with a Sefirah that has nothing to do with you, and being easily contaminated, is not a good thing.
Under the cover of the Authority of Time, Kronos felt that this connection had been reduced to a minimum, but had not completely disappeared.
However, with the cover of Authority of Time, the negative effects of the Judgment were not so severe.
Kronos estimated for a moment and felt that he could easily fire another ten or eight shots.
We don't need too many; these are enough. After all, there aren't many enemies in this world that require us to fire our own guns.
After reviewing the Judgment, Kronos turned to look at Nast.
The bullet hole between Nast's eyebrows was already healing, but he still had a splitting headache, as the bullet had damaged Nast spirit to a certain extent.
Seeing this, Kronos launched another wave of knowledge infusion without hesitation, but he carefully controlled the degree of infusion.
With two waves of headaches hitting him at once, Nast was truly unable to stand, clutching his head and collapsing to the ground.
He had other trump cards up his sleeve; Solomon's Treasure didn't only contain the Armor of Glory, an Angel-level Beyonder Item, but it was too late to use it.
It wasn't that Nast underestimated the enemy; rather, most high-level Beyonder Item have powerful negative effects and are not suitable for casual use.
Kronos is powerful and has many methods, which is indeed beyond Nast's ability to contend with.
Kronos looked at Nast, who was slumped on the ground in front of him, then raised his gun again and aimed it at Nast.
"Nast, I'm giving you one more chance. Do you want to accept my suggestion?" Kronos asked coldly.
Between Kronos and the Pirate, it's best to have a firewall in place to prevent Kronos's identity from being leaked too quickly.
The original owners of the Pirate Duchy of Nast were the best firewall.
Keeping Nast in the front will avoid a lot of trouble.
Moreover, Nast is strong enough that even the True God Churches wouldn't directly interrogate Nast just to find out Kronos's identity.
Nast never expected that Kronos would give him another chance.
Nast was quite sensible at this point and readily agreed.
Nast isn't stupid. Even if transferring the duchy's ownership might cause him to Loss of Control, it's still better than dying now.
