The Final Piece of the Puzzle
For the Church of Storms at this time, receiving such a boost would be a great thing.
Although the Negan remains a partner of the Church of Storms, unlike the Augustus Family, the Negan still faces constraints.
In order to balance the power of the Negan, the Levett Family chose to align themselves with the Church of Evernight.
The two families have completely entered into a fierce battle for power.
The situation in the entire Kingdom has changed, but the people of the Church of Storms are clearly not yet adapted to this environment.
Back then, the Church of Storms could practically do whatever it wanted in the Loen Kingdom, but things are naturally different now.
In an effort to reverse this situation, Leodero is still searching for a suitable cardinal to take charge of Backlund.
If they could also recruit members of the Twilight Hermit Order, it would allow the Church of Storms to reverse its decline and rise again.
Adam stood there pondering for a long time before finally speaking, "All the political and military personnel under the Twilight Hermit Order can be entrusted to you, but nothing else."
The reason why military and political matters were involved at that time was mainly to advance the world and complete Adam's Apotheosis Ritual.
Now that Adam has become God, these people are naturally no longer important.
Adam was never interested in this kind of thing.
As for the other members of the Twilight Hermit Order in Loen, such as intelligence agents and key Beyonder, these certainly cannot be handed over to the Church of Storms.
Upon hearing this, Leodero immediately agreed, "No problem, then it's a deal."
As if afraid that Adam would regret it, Leodero very decisively withdrew a portion of his divinity from himself in front of Adam.
This wasn't a huge loss for Leodero; he could recover after a period of rest.
After doing all this, he sealed the divinity in a box and then threw it directly to Adam.
Adam then threw out a list, which floated directly to Leodero's face.
Providing the list is enough. If the Church of Storms still can't accept this force even with the list, then it truly deserves to be outmatched by the Church of Evernight.
After taking the list and glancing at it, Leodero said to Adam, "Then it's a pleasure to cooperate."
Adam nodded slightly, then turned and left.
After Adam left, a figure emerged from behind Leodero's throne.
The man looked quite old; his hair and beard were white, and he was wearing a gray robe.
After coming out, he bowed deeply to Leodero.
Leodero glanced at him and then said, "I was still considering when to send you to Backlund, but now is the perfect opportunity."
This person was the previous leader of the Mandated Punishers within the Church of Storms.
Because he was a hopeless Angel, he later resigned and began his retirement life in the church.
The reason he was reinstated this time is because he is calm and capable, and is well-suited to the current situation of the Church of Storms.
Therefore, Leodero tossed the list in his hand in front of him and said, "Go secretly to Backlund first, receive the people on the list one by one, and then show yourself at the Holy Wind Church."
The person responded and then silently stepped back.
Leodero gazed in the direction of Backlund and muttered to himself, "Back then, my Church of Storms was able to gain the upper hand, and it can do it again now. Let's have some fun."
After Adam left the Abyss of Storms, he began his journey back to the Twilight Hermit Order.
At this moment, Kronos was still engrossed in studying the knowledge on the Blasphemy Slate.
He's no longer limited to knowledge below the level of True God; he's researching even Executives of knowledge, though his progress isn't as rapid.
When Adam returned, he placed the box containing the divine power directly in front of Kronos.
Kronos didn't even glance at it, yet he knew what it was, for he could already feel the intense desire within him.
As the final piece of the puzzle, acting as God Almighty's Substitute, Kronos could not suppress his instinctive desires.
Kronos kicked the Lightseeker at his feet and said, "The deal is done. This Angel is yours, but you'd better erase his memories so I don't reappear."
Adam nodded. This little thing was no problem at all; the Visionary Pathway was professional.
After seeing Adam nod, Kronos picked up the box and began to examine the last piece of the puzzle.
Adam, on the other hand, picked up the Lightseeker and vanished from the spot.
Adam was definitely going to discuss business with the Eternal Blazing Sun, but the details of that business were not of interest to Kronos.
He gently opened the box in his hand, and then saw a ball of blue divinity quietly placed inside.
Before Kronos could even get a good look at it, the Wings of Light on his back uncontrollably unfurled.
Then, in the next moment, this divine energy, like an old swallow returning to its nest, Wings of Light behind it.
Although Kronos originally wanted to study this divinity more thoroughly, he didn't stop them now that things had come to this.
Divinity was incorporated into God Almighty's Substitute, and the last pair of small Wings began to grow rapidly.
Before long, all five Wings of Light of God Almighty's Substitute became the same size, which also meant that the power of the five Pathway was completely complete.
After the five Pathway were completed, the Wings of Light suddenly broke free from Kronos's body, as if trying to escape Kronos's control.
It's normal for Beyonder Item of this caliber to develop their own spirit, and once a spirit is born, it naturally develops its own thoughts.
Today it is finally complete, and that is why the spirit appeared at this time.
Kronos completely ignored it.
Trying to run away? This place is not somewhere it can escape.
If it were that simple, Adam would have wasted all his energy in the Twilight Hermit Order.
The Wings of Light flew around aimlessly, trying to find an exit, but they kept crashing into walls.
Kronos, however, calmly sat back down in his chair and resumed studying the Blasphemy Slate.
Even a newborn spirit, after hitting a wall, knows to turn back. And after hitting the wall countless times, it eventually returned to Kronos's side.
Kronos saw its movement, then gently put down the stone tablet in its hand and came to the side of the Wings of Light.
However, instead of trying to appease it, he directly pulled out the "Judgment" revolver.
All of them were Beyonder Item of the same Sequence. After sensing the presence of "Judgment," Wings of Light suddenly felt a sense of fear.
Kronos pressed the revolver against the Wings of Light and said, "I created you, so from now on you must obey me. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to destroy you and create a new, more obedient one."
Regarding the spirits born from Beyonder Item, many believe that the primary approach should be to appease them; even the records within the Church of Steam and Machinery state say so.
There's really no good way to deal with this kind of spirit.
However, that's only a method for ordinary people.
Even Sequence 4 and Sequence 3 items don't have the ability to destroy Beyonder Item and pose no threat to it, so you can only appease and submit to it.
But for those above the Angel level, who already possess the power to threaten spirits, why should they humiliate themselves like that?
As Kronos spoke, he gently pressed the trigger of the revolver, as if a tremendous force was gathering within it.
This scare immediately paralyzed the God Almighty's Substitute.
Without a word, it flew back to Kronos's back and simply attached itself to it, as if to show its submission.
Kronos chuckled softly, then released his finger from the trigger, retracting the Judgment into the Mask Space.
Several hours later, Adam returned, and judging from his demeanor, he seemed to be in a pretty good mood.
It seems the deal was done. I wonder who he negotiated with, but Kronos didn't ask.
Seeing that Kronos was still stubbornly clinging to the Blasphemy Slate, Adam spoke up, "Actually, you don't necessarily have to be stuck with that knowledge forever. Sometimes, practice can be very helpful."
"I remember the time when Roselle 'Potion were being digested most rapidly was when he was making the Blasphemy Card."
Adam's words gave Kronos a completely new perspective.
Why did Roselle create Blasphemy Card?
Is it because he enjoys lecturing others? Is it to leave behind a legend of his own?
But it doesn't seem necessary, does it? He's left enough marks on this world already.
Especially since he was already Archangel at that time, his life was practically limitless, and he wouldn't even consider what would happen after his death.
Therefore, he must have had his own reasons for making Blasphemy Card.
While it's impossible to confirm whether this reason is related to the digestive Potion, it's certainly an idea worth trying.
Although he had thought of this, Kronos did not immediately put it into practice, but was still studying the Blasphemy Slate.
He had thoroughly studied the knowledge of the True God, and even Executives were just around the corner; he had no intention of letting this opportunity slip by.
If he were to create it, he would never have done what Roselle did, leaving the power of the Blasphemy Card at Sequence Two, with anything beyond that just for show.
Therefore, he needs to study this knowledge more thoroughly, which will benefit his future plans.
Seeing that Kronos did not react, Adam assumed that he had not listened to what he had said, so he stopped talking.
At this moment, Adam is like a mentor, guiding his student to help him succeed, but if the student doesn't listen, he won't force him.
So Adam shook his head and left, leaving Kronos alone there.
The Blasphemy Slate doesn't actually contain a clear description of the Sefirah power and the Great Old One power; it's just a very vague description.
This is because the Ancient Sun God possessed control over the Chaos Sea, which allowed him to deduce some abilities whose accuracy is uncertain.
However, one thing is certain: there are no problems with the above descriptions of the Chaos Sea and God Almighty.
Kronos also had an advantage: he had some understanding of the Sefirah Castle, and the revolver was contaminated by the Nation of Disorder, which was a connection between him and the Sefirah.
With this foundation, Kronos's Analysis of these Executives forces became much faster.
Finally, after more than half a month, Kronos put down the Blasphemy Slate.
Kronos was unable to Analysis anything from those vague descriptions, and ultimately had to give up.
He had some understanding of the Sefirah Castle and the Nation of Disorder, and he had deduced some things from them.
The Blasphemy Slate did help Kronos a lot; at least he digested most of the Potion in his body.
Just as Kronos was about to leave, Adam appeared once again.
He had thought that Kronos would stay here for a long time, and might even eventually become completely absorbed in the knowledge on the stone tablet.
After all, he was the one who knew the stone slab best, and the knowledge on it was quite tempting.
However, to his surprise, Kronos chose power within a month, which pleased him greatly. He truly deserved to be an ally he valued.
Before leaving, Kronos said to Adam, "Thank you for your help. If there's anything I can do to help in the future, please let me know."
Adam replied, "Strive to become stronger. If one day the Outer Deity invade, and you can lend me a hand and save my life when I am in dire straits, then you will have truly helped me."
These words truly reveal Adam's expectations of Kronos.
Kronos nodded; if the Outer Deity Descent, he would have no choice but to comply.
After this brief exchange, Kronos left the Twilight Hermit Order.
He did not go to Backlund, nor did he return to his Pirate King Kingdom; instead, he went directly back to Midseashire.
I've been away from home for several months now. If I don't go back to see my mother soon, she'll start missing me.
Of course, his return to Midseashire wasn't just to visit his family.
If you want to put the knowledge on the stone tablet into practice, you'll need a lot of materials.
Kronos wanted to create something that could hold more knowledge, so naturally he needed higher-grade materials.
These materials are hard to find elsewhere, but I have quite a few at home.
This isn't because the Argel Family is very rich. There are some things that even if you have money, you can't buy them anywhere. Materials of Demigod level and above have this problem.
But don't forget, Kronos once looted the Cathedral of Machinery, and those materials from the Cathedral of Machinery are now piled up in the Argel Family's Storeroom.
