The True Creator's decision
While there is still a gap between Kronos and the True Creator, it is certainly not insurmountable.
Therefore, after such a long period of preparation, they finally accumulated enough power.
Of course, the fact that the True Creator did not resist is also a very important reason.
With so many factors combined, and under the watchful eyes of Kronos and Ouroboros, this "Mount Tai" was indeed moved!
Although progress is slow at first, once it starts, things will become smoother and smoother.
Unlike the speed at which others can rewind time, the True Creator can only rewind a few years or a decade at a time; it cannot be done so quickly, and therefore requires a much longer period of time.
However, as long as it can begin, and as long as the True Creator does not resist, the goal will eventually be achieved.
Even Ouroboros had been quite indifferent, showed a hint of excitement.
The entire process of regression was not as Spirituality demanding as the initial accumulation of power, but even the full power of Kronos, the King of Angel, could only sustain him for about half an hour before he needed to replenish it.
This continued for more than seven hours. If it weren't for the Ancient Sun God having a sufficient Potions, they definitely wouldn't have been able to hold on.
At this point, the True Creator's state had reverted to the period after the War of the Four Emperors.
This is when the True Creator truly Loss of Control of his emotions.
Originally, as the embodiment of the negative personality and extreme emotions of the Ancient Sun God, he was an extremely unstable God.
However, before this point, there were still many people who believed in him, whether because they received the blessings of the Ancient Sun God or because of the help he made by his allies.
Solomon's relationship with the True Creator had always been quite good. After Solomon's resurrection, the only ally standing by his side was the True Creator.
With Solomon's help, the True Creator has maintained a good state.
Although occasionally his strong human nature might lead to more negative emotions and even madness, he remains normal most of the time.
However, the situation changed completely after the War of the Four Emperors.
Solomon is dead, Tudor is dead, and Salinger escaped after obtaining Tudor's Beyonder Characteristic; therefore, the victor on the Northern Continent should have been Trunsoest.
However, the pollution of this Nation of Disorder ultimately prevented Trunsoest from holding on.
Although Trunsoest was gone, someone rightfully and legitimately received all the spoils of war from the Northern Continent —that was the Church of the Seven Gods.
With their support, the four families established the four nations that are now located on the Northern Continent.
The first thing they did was to eradicate all belief in the True Creator.
Under this approach, the True Creator directly lost all its anchors and instantly fell into a state of madness.
Even though Ouroboros tried their best to help, they were ultimately powerless to reverse the situation.
Therefore, from that moment on, the True Creator's condition worsened until now, when He has completely lost all reason.
Therefore, once this point in time has passed, the True Creator's rationality will return.
Kronos knew this, so he put in a little more effort and pushed it through.
After the timeline returned to War of the Four Emperors, Kronos suddenly found himself in complete silence.
Those inexplicable babblings simply vanished.
Looking at the upside-down Giant before him, the madness in his eyes seemed to fade away, replaced by something that, while not rational, was more like a normal emotion.
Then, the entire upside-down Giant disappeared, transforming into a normal human figure standing in place.
He was originally a normal person, but the power of decision-making was taken over by a madman, which is why he became like this.
After all, it's natural to instinctively conform to one's own Mythical Form, which is normal.
And the person he transformed into looks so familiar.
No, it's not that their appearance is familiar, but their demeanor is. They look exactly like Adam.
It's just that one is wearing white clothes and the other is wearing black.
The moment Ouroboros saw this person appear, he immediately knelt down and prayed fervently:
"Lord, I have finally seen you again."
The True Creator smiled faintly and said, "Ouroboros, it's been a long time."
Ouroboros looked at Kronos and then asked, "How long can my lord maintain this state?"
Kronos sensed it for a moment, then said, "If I weren't there, he would instantly revert to his original state."
After all, there is still a difference in status, so Kronos is simply unable to solidify the current state of time.
He was different from Roselle. Roselle didn't possess any Beyonder Characteristic whatsoever; he was not even comparable to an angel, let alone a True God Angel.
To solidify the temporal state of True Creator, one must at least become True God oneself.
"If I stay there to maintain the situation, I can probably only hold it up for about ten minutes before it collapses."
After all, River of Time had already been used for nearly eight hours, so continuing would indeed be very difficult.
Ouroboros nodded and said, "I understand. Then listen to it. It doesn't matter if Adam finds out."
After he finished speaking, he turned to the True Creator and began to talk about a person.
And this person was Adam.
Ouroboros explained Adam's current situation and then asked, "Lord, what should we do now?"
Ouroboros wasn't a fool; he naturally knew that Adam's purpose was definitely more than just being a Visionary.
If he wants to go further, his next target will definitely be one of the following: the Tyrant, the White Tower, the Sun, or the Hanged Man.
The Hanged Man is definitely the easy target; who else would they target if not him?
This is why Ouroboros was willing to sacrifice his Beyonder Characteristic to meet the True Creator in a state of rationality.
He wasn't good at planning these things; those were originally the work of Medici, Aucuses, and Herabergen, while he and Leodero were just responsible for doing the work.
Therefore, he urgently needs a pillar of support.
The True Creator heard these words and laughed.
"Ouroboros, isn't this all part of 'my' own plan? Why are you so confused?"
Ouroboros said with a hint of urgency, "But if that happens, you will disappear, and Adam will be the one to achieve your goal!"
"My first Resurrection plan was ruined by Herabergen, which led to my reappearance, but I am constantly trapped in Affliction."
"The power of Corruption and negativity is too Affliction; it's simply beyond my capacity to bear in my incomplete state."
"Although it seems like I've been replaced by Adam, you should know that Adam is 'me,' and I will become the human side of 'me,' achieving a complete self."
Upon hearing the words of the True Creator, Ouroboros fell silent.
He naturally knew that Adam was the Ancient Sun God, the master he served.
But he refused to admit it, because the Lord before him was the god he had served for thousands of years.
However, the True Creator himself understood very well that his existence was to allow the Ancient Sun God to continue living, and now that the opportunity for Resurrection was right before his eyes, how could he possibly avoid it?
The True Creator continued, "Ouroboros, if Adam comes to me, ignore him and find a quiet place to live for a while."
"When you come out again and see Adam, you will have the power to choose."
"If you no longer believe he is the one you've always trusted, then leave. This is the right I'm giving you."
"If you can ultimately accept him, then he will be the person you ultimately believe in."
In fact, everyone has this choice, but Ouroboros is more stubborn, which is why the True Creator specifically said this.
Seeing the sincere expression on the face of the True Creator, Ouroboros finally nodded without saying anything more.
The True Creator looked at Kronos and said, "Thank you for your help; otherwise, Ouroboros would have been far too likely to get stuck on this."
"If he really faces Adam then, given Adam's personality, he might not necessarily show mercy."
Kronos said somewhat awkwardly, "Actually, Adam is my ally; he's the one who sent me to the Sanctum."
The True Creator paused for a moment, then smiled and said, "I see. But it's alright. When you leave, you can tell Adam that he can come here to find me anytime he's ready."
"However, without your support, I probably wouldn't be able to maintain the current situation, so he'll likely have to put in some effort."
Kronos looked at Ouroboros, then at the True Creator, and finally nodded.
I never expected that I would learn such a big thing just by coming to negotiate a deal with Ouroboros.
The fact that the True Creator was willing to merge with Adam and recreate the Ancient Sun God was something Kronos had never imagined.
"Alright, friend, I know maintaining the current state is putting a lot of pressure on you. Let it go. Ouroboros's goal has been achieved," the True Creator said.
Upon hearing this, Kronos looked at Ouroboros.
After all, this person is the one he's dealing with, so he has to be satisfied.
Ouroboros naturally nodded.
Whether he is satisfied or not, he will not refuse as long as the Lord speaks.
Therefore, he intends to heed the advice of the True Creator.
He doesn't concern himself with things here.
Let's decide whether or not to follow Adam when we see Adam again.
Seeing that Ouroboros nodded, Kronos then released the current state of time.
The True Creator's state instantly vanished, and the madness in his eyes swept away all reason. Then, a huge roar, carrying the connotation of Corruption, resounded.
After the roar subsided, he transformed back into the upside-down Giant.
He should have gone mad, but because Ouroboros was present, he didn't.
Over the years, every time he went mad, it was Ouroboros who calmed him down, so this situation rarely occurs now.
After the hanging Giant was put back in its place, Ouroboros rose from the ground and looked at Kronos.
"I am very grateful that you have allowed me to see my Lord again. I am very satisfied with this transaction, so now I will give you what you need."
After saying this, Ouroboros stepped forward and came to the upside-down Giant.
Separating one's Beyonder Characteristic is not something Ouroboros can accomplish on his own; it would require at least the power of True God.
Ouroboros did not have that, but he could use the hand of the True Creator to help him complete this process.
A black power emanated from the True Creator and entered Ouroboros's body directly.
To strip away the other characteristics contained within an Beyonder Characteristic, it is necessary to pulverize it.
But how do you pulverize a person?
Fortunately, Ouroboros wanted to strip away was the Beyonder Characteristic of Sequence One.
Although the Beyonder Characteristic at this level will gradually merge, they are not yet one until they become True God. Separating them is just very Affliction.
If you want to strip away the power of Sequence Two, there's absolutely no way to do so.
Ouroboros did his best to control himself from resisting, and he also isolated the two Beyonder Characteristic powers.
He voluntarily delivered one of them to the power of the True Creator.
The Authority of Corruption inherently possesses the ability to Grazing, so upon encountering this Beyonder Characteristic, it firmly clung to it.
As the power of the True Creator continued to withdraw, Ouroboros let out a Affliction cry.
This was an King of Angel who had been completely possessed by divinity; one can only imagine the extent of his Affliction to be able to make him cry out.
The True Creator showed no mercy, swiftly withdrawing his authority, and a silvery-white Beyonder Characteristic was extracted from Ouroboros's body.
Despite his physical discomfort, Ouroboros took the Beyonder Characteristic directly.
This thing cannot be left to the True Creator to dispose of at will, otherwise it will be corrupted by the power of Corruption, and then it will be quite troublesome to deal with.
After receiving the Beyonder Characteristic, Ouroboros staggered over to Kronos and handed it to Kronos directly.
Our transaction is complete.
Kronos asked, somewhat puzzled, "Was this deal worth it for you? In the end, nothing changed except yourself."
Ouroboros, surprisingly, smiled slightly and said, "It's worth it, because you don't know what the Lord means to me."
"In those days, Angel were hardly important figures. If it weren't for the appearance of the Lord, I might have died at the hands of Giant or Elf long ago."
"Although I haven't changed anything, this inquiry has put my mind at ease."
