"Lord Haimo!"
"I got the job done!"
"I've fixed all these swords, whether their edges were rolled or chipped!"
"I quenched them all again to restore their hardness and toughness!"
"Even if you go chop up a few more of those hard-shelled monsters now, their edges definitely won't roll again!"
With that said.
Tsubaki picked up a katana.
"Black Crow!"
Onigawara Rin recognized her beloved sword at a glance.
She rushed over impatiently and carefully picked up the pitch-black katana.
Her fingers brushed gently over the blade.
There was no longer any trace of where the edge had rolled. It had been repaired flawlessly, and there was even a faint violet glow flowing along its black edge.
"This is one of the surprises."
With her arms folded, Tsubaki watched Onigawara Rin's entranced expression, a craftsman's confident smile appearing on her face.
"When I was repairing it, I noticed its unusual material. It was forged from Obsidian Steel mixed with feathers from the Dungeon's black crows."
"So when I reforged the edge, I added a little Adamantite while I was at it."
"Adamantite?!"
Onigawara Rin's hand trembled, and she nearly lost her grip.
"Lady Tsubaki, isn't... isn't that far too precious?!"
Onigawara Rin was somewhat incoherent.
"How much must that cost..."
"Consider it a free extra!"
Tsubaki waved a hand, utterly unconcerned.
"They were just leftover scraps anyway. Throwing them away would've been a waste."
"Besides..."
"Seeing a bunch of rookies like you turn the Dungeon upside down right after starting out..."
"Really helped lift the gloomy mood I've been in lately!"
"All right, stop staring. Come try your weapons and see how they feel!"
"If anything feels off, I can still make some adjustments on the spot while I'm here!"
At those words.
The girls could no longer hold back.
