The roster struck Killer B's raised arm. Its binding cord snapped on impact, scattering hundreds of pages of records across the trade road.
Killer B caught one page and was about to tear it apart when the old seal of the Raikage's Office on the paper caught his eye.
The page recorded a covert operation from the Second Raikage's time, targeting Takigakure ninja with bloodline limits. The result was clearly written: three dead, one young child sent to a Kumogakure laboratory.
"Fake."
Killer B crumpled the paper into a ball, Eight-Tails chakra rising along his arm.
Sasuke did not snatch the page back. He merely kicked another sheet at his feet toward the Water Mirror Formation Disc.
"Military paperwork from successive generations of Kumogakure, archival seals of successive Raikage, handwritten records by mission captains, laboratory intake lists. It's all in there."
Yamada Naoto enlarged the page, and the old reference number in its corner appeared on every country's channel at once.
"You can keep calling it fake. I can also invite the ninja villages victimized back then to identify each entry."
Killer B glanced down at the scattered pages. The rap he had prepared never followed.
Several pages recorded Kirigakure's Byakugan, Sunagakure's Magnet Release, and ninja with secret techniques from several small countries. The methods were almost identical: first force the other side to surrender people through border conflicts, then send ANBU to abduct them if that failed.
The voice of Gyuki, the Eight-Tails, came from deep within his consciousness.
"B, the chakra seals on these papers are real. I've seen the Third Raikage's seal."
"The old man wouldn't do this."
"Kumogakure's missions have never been decided by the Raikage alone. The Council of Elders and the military affairs division can also issue secret orders."
Killer B tightened his grip
