In the game, Ossirian the Unscarred was the final boss of the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj.
To kill this severely mutated Anubisath, players had to lure him into the trap areas on the field to trigger a debuff.
Each debuff triggered a thirty-second window in which he could be attacked.
Only by attacking during that window could players avoid being killed by him in a single hit.
Fighting this guy therefore required running all over the field. It was quite a workout!
The real Ossirian the Unscarred had no such bizarre game mechanics.
But the Old Gods had enhanced him, greatly increasing both his attack and defense.
The Ancient Crystals also provided him with a powerful source of energy.
However, this powerful mutated Anubisath had plenty of enemies who wanted him dead. Herad had no need to trouble himself over him.
Seeing the blue-skinned, eagle-headed figure emerge from the ruins, the Bronze Dragon Prince Anachronos immediately roared and lunged at him.
This guy had been the first to invent Dragon-Slaying, and he had successfully put it into practice.
There was no way they would let him live past today!
While Anachronos fought Ossirian the Unscarred, his three friends stood by to support him.
They were the Red Dragon Vaelastrasz, the Green Dragon Eranikus, and the Blue Dragon Azuregos.
Players jokingly called those three, together with the Bronze Dragon Anachronos, the Tragic Four Guardians.
These four powerful Dragon Aspects had all participated in the first War of the Shifting Sands.
They had also rendered distinguished service in sealing away the Qiraji.
Yet their fates in the game were fraught with misfortune!
The Red Dragon Vaelastrasz was captured by the Black Dragon Prince Nefarian and imprisoned in Blackrock Spire, where his blood was drawn for experiments.
The Green Dragon Eranikus was treacherously killed
