While Herad was busy locating obsidian deposits and opening underground mines, the Druids and Botanists had already made a major breakthrough.
They had awakened true intelligence in that enormous Kypa'ra Trees, giving it the ability to think.
Except that it still could not pull up its roots and walk on the ground.
It was already little different from a Treant.
The Kypa'ra Trees was inevitably somewhat annoyed that its caretakers had been killed.
But under the soothing care of the Botanists and Druids, whether those caretakers lived or died no longer mattered!
Because it now received professional care from these experts.
The Mantid could only water it, fertilize it, and remove pests.
Such basic care was something anyone with hands could do.
And so the Mantid's standing plummeted.
Feeling its roots being animated by the force of nature, becoming tougher and brimming with vitality, the Kypa'ra Trees felt that the Mantid were a bunch of good-for-nothings.
After despising the Mantid for their incompetence, the Kypa'ra Trees soon forgot its former caretakers.
This was a classic case of siding with whoever fed you.
But expecting a Treant that had only just developed intelligence to have any moral standards was clearly unrealistic!
Watching the enormous Kypa'ra Trees sway as it pulled its roots out of the ground, Herad was speechless at the Druids' decision.
A behemoth this enormous moving around was nothing short of a devastating disaster!
Although the Kypa'ra Trees would shrink somewhat when it assumed Treant form.
That was a modest reduction, not a reduction of more than half.
The Kypa'ra Trees, originally over a thousand meters tall, still stood over eight hundred meters tall after assuming Treant form.
It was nothing short of a walking wooden mountain!
Across all of Azeroth, only the Obsidian Warship could compare to it!
