Queen Azshara's anger came and went quickly.
After scolding her subordinates, she shifted her attention to other aspects of the matter.
The red-shelled giant crab that had died was, after all, only a pet.
So what if it had been Queen Azshara's favorite among her many pets?
A pet was ultimately just a pet, and a new one could replace it at any time.
The waterless zone that had led to her pet's death was what most needed investigating.
"Did you see exactly how large that waterless zone in the sea was?"
The subordinates who had returned to report were stumped by Queen Azshara's question.
All they knew was that the waterless zone was enormous.
So enormous that they could not see its end.
It might have spanned dozens of kilometers, or it might have spanned hundreds.
With that much uncertainty, they naturally dared not report a figure to the queen.
Seeing her subordinates stammer without giving her a clear answer,
Queen Azshara flew into a rage.
"A bunch of useless fools! Get out there and find out!"
As she spoke, she raised a hand and unleashed a torrent, blasting her subordinates away.
She watched their bedraggled figures with disdain.
Azshara had little faith in their ability to get things done.
She summoned her handmaiden Vashj and ordered her to monitor those fools throughout the task.
If she found them inadequate, she was to execute them on the spot.
Although Vashj was only the queen's handmaiden,
she was an exceptionally powerful Naga sea witch.
Besides her formidable spellcasting, her melee combat and archery skills were impeccable!
It was worth mentioning that the tentacles on her head were sea snakes, making her look most like a Medusa from mythology.
Female Naga had at least four arms, while powerful ones had six.
