A corps of Mages made up of large numbers of Naga sea witches remained outside the waterless area, observing the situation.

These hideous, terrifying serpentine Banshees created a huge water mirror and gradually swept it across the area.

The water mirror spell actually worked much like a telescope and served much the same purpose.

Its image quality, however, was far better than a telescope's!

Even a tiny crab could be seen clearly in the area scanned by the enormous mirror.

This ultra-high-definition imaging blew even the most advanced optical reconnaissance Satellites out of the water.

Even high-definition lenses enhanced with magical items could not compare to the water mirror spell.

The spells that magical items could generate were all relatively simple in structure.

A water mirror spell with such a complex structure was very difficult to produce through a magical item!

As the water mirror swept over the remains of the giant sea beasts, the Naga sea witches' rage soared.

Among those giant sea beasts smashed to pieces were not only Queen Azshara's pets, but theirs as well.

Unlike the cold-blooded, heartless Queen Azshara.

The Naga sea witches still retained a strong sense of humanity.

Anyone would have found it unbearable to see a pet they had raised for thousands or even tens of thousands of years maliciously smashed into a bloody pulp.

They had never considered just what sort of monsters those pets they found so adorable were.

At least, in the eyes of ordinary people!

The giant crabs and sea turtles were not so bad.

But those enormous sea snakes and octopuses looked so hideous and terrifying that a single glance could give someone nightmares.

They were practically monsters straight out of the C'Thun mythos!

Only these creatures who were no longer human would find them adorable.
