Gao Shiqi scoffed. "I'll try one last time. By the way, I have some very important information. Tell me, what's in it for me? I want to visit your family's seaside resort this summer."

With a piercing scream, Gao Shiqi sprang three feet into the air, flinging her phone away. She scrambled off the bed like a tumbling melon and pointed in terror at the Mouse Clone on it. "Little Cake, a mouse! A mouse!"
Gao Shiqi's reaction scared Xue Ruigao so badly that her face went pale too.
When she saw the Mouse Clone beside her, she laughed aloud.
Gently cupping the Mouse Clone in her hands, Xue Ruigao said softly, "Don't cause trouble! Qiqi is a very important friend of mine. She's scared of you, so you mustn't frighten her. Be good!"
The Mouse Clone cast a disdainful glance at Gao Shiqi, quickly climbed down from Xue Ruigao's hands, and ran toward the table.
Gao Shiqi screamed in fright again and hid behind Xue Ruigao.
