"What should I do?" Karin asked curiously.
"It's actually very simple, even simpler than you imagine!" Medivh said with a smile. "Against demons with very high arcane resistance, we can try another approach... namely, cut them down!"
"Cut them down?" Karin froze for a moment.
"For example..." Medivh's expression grew serious...
He waved his hand lightly, and the reclining chair Karin had just sat in split in two, a clean cut appearing across the break.
"Arcane mimicry!" Medivh explained. "Create the likeness of a sharp sword in front of you... against that, those demons' resistant hides are utterly useless!"
Karin seemed not to quite understand.
"Of course, this might be a little difficult for you! Mimicry is quite an advanced subject, after all..." Medivh frowned. "So you should use a more direct approach!"

"Hello, Anduin!" Medivh, however, seemed entirely unsurprised and greeted him with a smile.
"H-hello, Med." Anduin Lothar looked a little embarrassed. "I... I just happened to be coming to see whether you were awake... and just happened to..."
"What a coincidence!" Medivh was still smiling.

"About ten minutes ago, when I first woke up, I sensed what seemed to be a thief eavesdropping outside the room..." Medivh continued, looking straight into Lothar's eyes. "That wasn't you, was it, Anduin?"
"Of course... of course not," Lothar replied awkwardly.
"You must have heard what I just said!" Medivh's expression turned serious. "My assistant needs a weapon to fight those demons and orcs... so..."
