A contingent of High Elf Rangers arrived in Alterac City.
The guards in the city were already familiar with the Elves... They soon sent someone to inform General Hass...
"It seems His Excellency Karin kept his word!" General Merrick Hass stepped out of his tent, and a faint smile appeared on his lips as he looked at the hundreds of well-equipped Elf Rangers... With their help, Alterac's defensive lines would be impregnable.
"Your Excellency Karin!" General Hass called out in greeting when he saw the Elf Mage before him. "I didn't expect you to have missed the hunt!"
"I had something to attend to in Alterac City!" Karin explained with a smile. "See? The rest of the Rangers have arrived, haven't they?"
Following Karin was a tall, bald Monk... General Hass remembered him somewhat. The fellow was called Mankrik, and he was a skilled fighter. Even several of the general's own adjutants might not be his match in unarmed sparring.
The Rangers' leader stepped forward, and Karin frowned slightly... This female Elf's face seemed somewhat unfamiliar.
"Lord Karin!" The Ranger bowed slightly to the Mage. "I'm Alleria's adjutant. We found traces of Orcs in the Alterac Mountains... Our leader, Miss Alleria Windrunner, sent us back to report to you first, while she went deeper into the Orc tribe to try to learn more about them!"
