Just as Karin was secretly sizing up the female Elf Mage, she noticed him too.
"And who is this?" She frowned... a very unfamiliar-looking Blue Robe, and a very young one from Sunfury at that, yet she had no recollection of him at all.
"This is Karin! He is also the reason I called the Council together this time..." Kane extended a hand and introduced her. "Karin, this is Lady Solanian Dawnblade..."
Karin was undoubtedly familiar with the name Solanian Dawnblade. Like Sunfury, the Dawnblade Family was one of the great families of Quel'Thalas, and its influence even seemed to surpass Sunfury's somewhat.
And Solanian Dawnblade was the head of Dawnblade, as well as the master of one of Quel'Thalas's eight Towers.
"Greetings, my lady! I have long heard of your great reputation. It is truly an honor to meet you!" Karin hastily bowed in greeting.
"Such a young Blue Robe!" Solanian looked Karin up and down. "So you are the Karin Sunfury who earned the recognition of the Astral Plane Mage Medivh... you seem to have a boundless future ahead of you!"
Karin noticed a certain fervor in her appraising gaze.
There was no doubt that this certainly had nothing to do with how charming he was... so most likely, she was interested in "Medivh's legacy"!
"Yes, my lady. It was only luck!" Karin's expression gradually cooled as he spoke.
"I hear you were also the one who brought news of that Horde invasion!" Solanian was quite good at controlling her emotions, and her expression soon returned to calm. "Then I wish you success in persuading the king and the rest of us shortly!"
