"An artifact!" The All-Knowing Eye's voice immediately rang out in Karin's mind.

"This artifact contains four powerful kinds of dragon power, and, correspondingly, it can also subdue four different kinds of dragons!"

Indeed, the Dragon Soul had been created by Deathwing by combining demonic power with the power of the Dragon Aspects. It held unparalleled power over dragons other than black dragons; merely being near the Dragon Soul would leave other dragons extraordinarily weak.

"Put down that evil thing, mortal!" Alexstrasza's anxious voice rose from below. "Its evil power will corrupt your mind..."

"It does indeed have a certain soul-corroding effect," the All-Knowing Eye continued. "But it only affects dragons."

Karin nodded. He had already guessed as much... After the Earth Guardian Neltharion used the Dragon Soul, his soul had quickly been corrupted by it; yet when the orc shaman Nekros used it, he had suffered no effects whatsoever.

"Can you help me control it?" Karin asked.

"That presents no difficulty at all," the All-Knowing Eye replied. "Restrictions against dragons have been placed upon it, including black dragons, but they have no effect on mortals. Using it is easy."

A faint smile appeared at the corners of Karin's mouth.

He raised the Dragon Soul and slowly began to reach into the power within it.

"Ah..." The red dragon Tiranastasz, an enormous dragon whose body was like a mountain, let out a wail of agony and then collapsed to the ground.

"What are you doing?" Alexstrasza had already crawled out of the cavern.

The Red Dragon Queen looked rather sickly, but her weakened face was filled with anger.

Tiranastasz and the other red dragons involved at Grim Batol gradually gathered around, watching the astonishing scene before them.

"What am I doing?" A cold smile appeared at the corners of Karin's mouth
