Qiao Lun recognized her as well.
She looked almost exactly as she did in the manga. In particular, he had read the short manga about Kurapika several times, and he knew that Sheila had indeed come from Meteor City.
In the manga, Sheila had been a resident of Meteor City in her early years.
She could even be considered a close friend of Sarasa, who had been murdered. Later, however, she had made a different choice from the Phantom Troupe when it came to Sarasa.
Chrollo's plan back then had been to wait a few years for the information explosion, which would make it easier to find out what had actually happened.
However, avenging Sarasa was not Chrollo's ultimate goal. His ambition was to change Meteor City's circumstances.
And Chrollo had been working toward that ambition all along.
But things were not as simple as he had imagined when he was young. At the very least, Meteor City was still far from united.
Each district had its own elders, and those elders all had their own selfish interests, as well as countless ties to various outside powers.
The only reasonably good news was that Meteor City's people stood united against outsiders.
Sheila, however, was different. She had little interest in changing Meteor City's circumstances, nor did she want to become someone like the scum who had killed Sarasa.
Because Sheila knew very well what a sunny person Sarasa had been.
So Sheila wanted instead to become a Hunter, like a hero. That way, she would not only have more avenues to investigate what had happened back then, but also better ways to bring those villains to justice.
Perhaps that was what Sarasa would have wanted to see.
And so Sheila had left Meteor City and worked toward becoming a Hunter.
