Early the next morning, after Qiong left the Uchiha compound, Uchiha Shin quietly began to act.
Even though he did not know exactly what the Anbu intended to do, he had given his word, so he had to follow through!
In truth, fully consolidating the Military Police Force was something he would have done in the future anyway. It had simply been brought forward considerably.
Only one final division within the Military Police Force was still stubbornly resisting. The other two divisions were already firmly under Uchiha Shin and Uchiha Sora's control.
This division's circumstances were somewhat unusual. Before Uchiha Shin began extending his influence into it, he had not known much about it, but now he knew just how complicated it was.
It included members of the Dove Faction, members of the Hawk Faction, and even quite a few neutral members who were utterly devoted to the clan head.
Naturally, this made the division extremely difficult to control, even with Uchiha Shen mediating and communicating from within, trying to win over the Hawk Faction members.
But Uchiha Shen was, after all, a "dead man." He could no longer act without restraint.
But now, this cannot continue.
Uchiha Shen thought silently as he strode into a small courtyard.
The courtyard looked somewhat desolate, and a closer look would reveal quite a few Uchiha ninja concealed there, keeping watch.
However, these watchers paid Uchiha Shin no mind when they saw him, and he reached a room inside the courtyard without obstruction.
"Hmph!"
As Uchiha Shin entered, a cold snort reached his ears. He paid it no mind, sweeping his gaze over his surroundings before heading straight inside.
The people making such sounds were none other than the Dove Faction elders whom Uchiha Shin had forcibly captured and detained a year ago!
