It's finished!!!!!
I fucking finished it!!! My first officially completed novel!!
When I published the first installment in April 2024, I never imagined I would write something this long, keep going for this long, or achieve fairly respectable results. None of that would have been possible without everyone's support.
Actually, a lot of you probably noticed that when I first started writing, I hadn't worked out an outline at all. I started because my previous, more traditional fantasy novel flopped, which made me doubt myself and desperately want to try again. So I wrote a few tens of thousands of words and started posting right away. Then, after its debut performed noticeably better than my previous book's, I started coming up with things and writing them on the day. Around the first time I mentioned having writer's block, my backlog ran out, and practically every day became a "deadline"-if I couldn't get the writing done, I was dead.
And so, apart from the few days I took off for my wedding and my regular one day off each month, I kept serializing it all the way up to now. Along the way, I gradually grew more comfortable as a webnovel author, and I suppose I proved myself a little.
But as I said at the beginning, I started this book in a rush, and almost everything was made up as I went along. It was genuinely tormenting, and countless times I couldn't help crying out that I had writer's block! At last, it's finished!
Although the ending was a little rushed, Yang Yi's adventure really did end here. I'll write a few side stories afterward, probably to be posted during the Spring Festival. They won't be very long.
Then there's my next book. Personally, I'm rather adventurous. To put it
