"Is that Cook Island?"
Yang Yi used Three Eyes to observe the distant island.
If it hadn't appeared on the Sea Chart, the island would have been practically invisible. The entire island was shrouded in darkness, almost blending into its surroundings.
Fortunately, Three Eyes could adapt to this dark environment, allowing him to observe the island.
It looked like a giant winter melon with wrinkled skin covered in bumps, with several holes at the top and half of it submerged in the sea. The largest hole was over a thousand meters across.
Judging by its appearance alone, the island didn't look inhabited. It was pitch-black and lifeless.
Yang Yi took a picture and posted it in the Fleet channel so both Su Na and Cui Xiya could see it.
"Reporting, Captain. A giant object has appeared on the sea ahead, less than ten nautical miles away."
Xiaoji delivered the belated report, a radar extending from its head and rotating as it scanned.
"You don't say?"
Yang Yi snapped, finding that Xiaoji particularly liked making its presence known at moments like this.
He watched for a little longer, then withdrew his gaze and put on his eyepatch after confirming there was nothing unusual.
He could now use Three Eyes for much longer than before, up to thirty or even forty minutes. He had tested it once in his spare time.
But an ability with this sort of limit was like stamina. He had to conserve it when he could, lest he run short at a critical moment.
He switched back to the Fleet chat interface. Three players were online: Yang Yi, Su Na, and Cui Xiya.
Xiaoji didn't have the player system loaded, so it wasn't among them.
The other member wasn't among them either, due to being too far away.
