Reinhardt led Yang Yi out of the temple district.
Honestly, without someone to lead the way, it would have been very easy to get lost here. The transportation network was too complicated, and some buildings might even have been built on top of others.
As a result, the top floor of one building could actually be the open space or even plaza in front of another building's entrance.
With several more layers of structures like that, finding a particular person or room inside would have been rather difficult.
Fortunately, they had a local guide-or, more precisely, a living navigation system, Cui Bisi-leading the way, eliminating any possibility of getting lost.
"Your Light Fairy is pretty capable."
Yang Yi offered the compliment, and Cui Bisi immediately reacted.
"Of course! I'm 'Cui Bisi the Genius,' unlike a certain Light Fairy whose exam scores only ever hovered around the average!"
She spoke proudly, her veiled jab aimed squarely at Cui Xiya, who was right there.
"What did you say?!" Cui Xiya flared up. "Aside from being a little better at the Light Spell and getting higher magic scores, what else do you have to show for yourself? You actually dare compare yourself to me?
"I know all about it. Someone kept studying hard even after all the other Light Fairies had gone to rest, and even cried because she couldn't keep up with everyone else. Want me to get more specific, 'Cui Bisi the Failure'?"
"You!!!"
Cui Bisi flew into a rage, her face instantly flushing red as she became thoroughly heated. Her words came much faster. "I'm not who I used to be anymore!
"You lazy, gluttonous, useless Light Fairy who never sticks with anything-what gives you the right to compare yourself to me?!"
"Didn't get beaten enough last time?"
Cui Xiya
