Three days later.
The Temple Area, the Radiant Holy Sanctuary-or perhaps it could also be called a Paladin training institute.
Yang Yi was sparring with Reinhardt, borrowing the training ground here.
"Supreme Holy Slash!"
Yang Yi roared in werewolf form, swinging the heavy greatsword in his hands down at Reinhardt.
Rubble flew, and another large crater appeared in the training ground.
There were already dozens of similar craters across the grounds, all smashed out by Yang Yi not long before.
Unfortunately, Reinhardt was nowhere inside the crater. He had vanished straight out of Yang Yi's field of vision.
"...When you're far slower than your opponent, don't attack rashly. It's best to swing your sword in response to their movements and try to counter them.
"Since you can't defeat them in one move, you must first make sure you don't lose. Only by prolonging the fight will you have a chance of winning."
Reinhardt's voice came from Yang Yi's left. He was using actual combat to correct Yang Yi's bad habits of chasing quick results and hacking away wildly.
Who could have expected Yang Yi to suddenly turn serious at that moment, lower his greatsword, and look behind Reinhardt with a surprised expression?
"Saintess, what brings you here...?" he asked.
Reinhardt turned his head to look as well, but there was nothing there. He clicked his tongue in annoyance, then raised his sword to block Yang Yi's slash, which carried a mass of flames.
"All you do is play meaningless little tricks. You'll never become truly strong like this."
Reinhardt spoke irritably. Apparently, this was not the first time Yang Yi had fooled him. He then exerted his strength and shoved Yang Yi back.
Yang Yi was not discouraged, nor did he have any intention of giving up his little tricks.
