As he drew closer to his destination, the temperature he felt gradually dropped. He no longer even needed the White Shard to regulate his temperature, because another force was drawing the heat out of his body. It felt inexplicably familiar, like what he had experienced inside that door, but much weaker.
When he passed a Relay Station, he made a point of stopping to look inside.
Numerous transport tracks converged here, so there were also plenty of mine carts parked there. Most had only two or three carriages, each less than five meters long. They did not look capable of holding much.
Only after entering did Yang Yi realize that these mine carts held a hidden space within. Like the Witch Laboratory aboard the Nightmare Star, they had built-in compressed spaces, giving them far greater capacities than their exteriors suggested.
