• He weighed keeping the captured Shelter as an outpost against dismantling it, and decided to postpone the choice until after clearing the rat nest.
• Yang Yi awoke amid gunfire in the body of Captain Dijie, identified Holence as an unfamiliar man, and killed him with a Beam Cannon.
• He examined Dijie’s vampire status and recognized that he was lucid inside a dream, retaining his talents.

Yang Yi discovered that First Mate Holence was infected with House Mice and learned the defenders were vastly outnumbered, so he set out to obtain Rat Killer and change the battle’s outcome. He left Liu Dong in charge of the defensive line and flew toward Area C to find Wei Qian.

• Yang Yi found House Mice parasitizing Holence and killed them, then discovered a silver dagger hidden in Holence’s sleeve.
• Liu Dong reported that only 207 guard fighters and 602 civilians remained against more than 70,000 Rat Slaves.
• Yang Yi appointed Liu Dong first mate and ordered him to hold the defensive line while Yang Yi pursued a way to defeat the rats.
• Yang Yi drained Holence’s blood, restored his Qi and Blood, and adapted to his Higher Vampire form.

• Yang Yi looked at the cracked moon, lost 30 Sanity, and forcibly carved his eyes and nose back into his face after they vanished.
• Yang Yi reached Area C's port, where he succumbed to unnatural drowsiness and dreamed that an octopus monster was impersonating Su Na.
• Yang Yi shot the monster and woke beneath the port's curtains among sleeping players.
• Yang Yi tore a House Mouse out of his arm and stomped it to death before it could burrow inside him.
• The awakened players condemned Yang Yi for killing the mouse and demanded that Captain Dijie pay with his life.

Yang Yi used the port’s defenses and the Blood Ratchet to slaughter the House Mouse-parasitized players, wielding a blood-red greatsword fueled by his own and his victims’ blood. Wei Qian watched the massacre and began to suspect that the figure calling himself Dijie was not the real Dijie.

• Yang Yi found that he was surrounded by hostile players and ordered the port’s beam guns to attack them.
• Yang Yi opened a wound with the Blood Ratchet, then transformed his blood into the Broken Iron Greatsword and fought off the players.
• A player’s EMP disabled the port’s defenses, but Yang Yi’s greatsword let him kill the attackers and drain their blood.
• Wei Qian woke in Laboratory 3, discovered a House Mouse parasitizing her ankle, and watched Yang Yi’s slaughter through the cameras.

Yang Yi entered the shelter to reach the Biochemical Laboratory, where Wei Qian had summoned him. She trapped him in an ultraviolet isolation chamber and revealed that she knew he was not Dijie, leaving him with sixty seconds to explain himself before the light killed him.

• Yang Yi passed through the shelter corridors, killing House Mice and finding signs of recent fighting.
• Robot No. 8 stopped attacking survivors when it recognized Yang Yi as Captain Dijie and guided him toward the laboratory.

Yang Yi and Su Na discovered that the mature Vitality Sardine Tree could escape, scream, and produce legs that boosted stamina but were addictive. Two days later, Yang Yi visited the Witch Laboratory expecting Su Na to have finished making rat poison, while the muzzled tree remained tied up by the entrance.

• Xiaoji Robot warned Yang Yi that the Vitality Sardine Tree had tried to escape, and Yang Yi trapped it beneath a glass cover.
• Yang Yi broke off the tree’s legs and learned that eating them increased stamina and its recovery rate, though the tree’s scream shattered the cover.
• Yang Yi warned Su Na that the legs were addictive, gave her two legs and his Delicious Fertilizer, and kept one for later.
• Yang Yi completed his remaining cape orders, received 30 bottles of Holy Water, and stored them for future use.

Yang Yi received Su Na’s rat pheromone potion and discussed how she might break through the mortal limit. After learning she suspected he had the Stone of Truth, he kept it hidden and postponed testing it while preparing to deal with the rats.

• Su Na gave Yang Yi ten bottles of rat pheromone potion and warned him to avoid breathing it in; he shared Holy Water with her and told her to rest.
• Su Na showed Yang Yi that her Perception had reached ten and explained that humans needed extraordinary methods to raise their stats further.

• Yang Yi waited for Su Na to wake, left her in charge of the Nightmare Star, and reassured her that he believed she could advance to the Extraordinary through her own research.
• Yang Yi sailed to a breach in the Shelter, gave Su Na the Eye of Greed, restored his stamina, and flew inside as a huge, noisy bat.
• Yang Yi found no Rat Slaves nearby, canceled his transformation, and used the Ratman Hero Cape to disguise himself as a Rat Slave.

Yang Yi killed the Rat Slaves and House Mice who could expose him, then used the Drowned Dead's Hatred to draw an enormous undead horde to the Shelter. As Rat Slaves fought the Drowned Dead, Yang Yi joined their ranks with a Beam Rifle and blended into the battle.

• Yang Yi killed two Rat Slaves and burned nearby House Mice, then fired the Roaring Flintlock to draw attention and poured the Drowned Dead's Hatred into the sea.
• A House Mouse tactical squad arrived and extinguished the fire, but a Drowned Dead dragged its sniper through the breach.
• The Drowned Dead swarmed the Shelter while the Rat Slaves fought back and called for reinforcements.
• More Rat Slaves and Conjoined Rat Nests arrived, assembled Rotary Beam Cannons, and drove the Drowned Dead away from the breach.

Yang Yi infiltrated the rats’ General Warehouse disguised as a Rat Slave and discovered a vast colony of dormant rats and a colossal Rat Nest. After blending in and evading suspicion, he prepared to approach the rat king and plant poison.

• The Rat Slaves defeated the Drowned Dead, and Captain Liu Dong ordered squads to search other areas while he led the others back to the General Warehouse.
• Yang Yi followed the Rat Slaves into the General Warehouse and found a rubbish-covered plaza and an armory full of weapons, ammunition, and Magic Stones.
• Yang Yi used Three Eyes to see through the Black Fog and spotted tens of thousands of dormant Rat Slaves and an enormous Rat Nest at the plaza’s center.
• A Rat Slave told Yang Yi to eat, so he pretended to take food from a Food Printer and hid it in his Charred Black Worm Ring.

Yang Yi poisoned the House Mice in the General Warehouse with Su Na’s potion, triggering a violent frenzy that escalated into a battle. He escaped into an abandoned workshop, where he confirmed the potion’s effects and found robot parts, then messaged Su Na that the plan was working.

• Yang Yi stopped before the Rat King's Nest and poured out seven bottles of Su Na’s potion, waking the rats and infecting them with pheromones.
• The poisoned rats began attacking one another, while a swarm tore apart Yang Yi’s rat costume and forced him to put away his Ratman Hero Cape.
• Yang Yi escaped the warehouse and hid in an abandoned production workshop as the Rat Slave tactical squad hurried toward the fighting.

• Yang Yi inspected the robot production line and suspected the timing of the rat infestation might not have been a coincidence.
• While gunfire and explosions raged in the General Warehouse, Yang Yi cooked cheese potatoes and waited for the fighting to subside.

• The House Mice, Rat Slaves, and Conjoined Rat Nests concentrated their attacks on the rat king, while Yang Yi identified it as the cause of the damage to the lower hold.
• Yang Yi struck the rat king’s electromagnetic railgun with Oathbreaker Slash, deforming its rails and triggering an explosion that incapacitated the rat king.
• The surviving rats attacked the immobilized rat king, exposing a generator hidden inside its nest.

• Yang Yi cut the Rat King's head free, then used the Limb Restoration Spell to connect his body and the Maw of Gluttony to the Rat Nest.
• Fragments of the Rat Nest's memories drove Yang Yi's Sanity down to 1, but Su Na's private message helped him remember his identity.
• Yang Yi fired Roaring Mode through the Shelter's ceilings and told Su Na to stay away while he tried to move the Generator out.

• Su Na used the Eye of Greed Telescope to identify Yang Yi inside the Rat Nest as he crawled out of the Shelter and headed for the sea.
• Yang Yi swam away from the Shelter, severed his connection to the Rat Nest, and let its generator sink into the water and explode.
• The blast caught Yang Yi in its shock wave, but he survived, and Su Na hauled him aboard the Nightmare Star with a Grappling Hook.
• Su Na questioned Yang Yi about his increased Pollution, confiscated his helmet and Penitent Armor, and had him stitch shut the mouth on his belly.
• Yang Yi and Su Na gathered supplies, including all 1,320 units of steel, and prepared to enter the Shelter for emergency repairs.

Yang Yi and Su Na recovered robots from Shelter’s hospital before hurrying to Underwater Level 8 to address the General Warehouse leaks. Su Na entered the workshop to repair the remaining robots, while Yang Yi and Xiaoji Robot and Xiao Er Robot went on toward the flooding warehouse.

• Yang Yi and Su Na killed a Drowned Dead on the pier and headed to the Laboratory with Xiaoji Robot and Xiao Er Robot.
• Su Na and Yang Yi entered the Medicine Room and used an access card to shut down a malfunctioning robot, then recovered it and found an expired Super Adrenaline syringe.
• Xiao Er Robot joined them with three damaged robots, and the group packed them into the Shoulder Bag before heading for Underwater Level 8.

• Yang Yi found the General Warehouse flooded with sewage, garbage, and corpses, and asked Xiaoji to inspect the damage.
• Xiaoji used ultrasound to locate three hull leaks and detected Drowned Dead gathering beneath the ship near the earlier explosion.
• Yang Yi ordered emergency repairs after Xiaoji estimated they would require about 400 units of steel instead of scarce sea silver.

• Yang Yi held off the Drowned Dead until Xiaoji finished repairing all three leaks, then headed back with the robot squad as Su Na prepared to join him.
• Transparent tentacles emerged from below, dragging away corpses, Drowned Dead, Yang Yi’s rifle, and Robot No. 7 while the robots’ Beam Cannons failed to stop them.
• Yang Yi used supplies from the Stomach Pouch to block the tentacles’ attacks, and he and two robots reached the waterlock safely.
