• Yang Yi emerged from beneath the ice and killed Senge before he could cast a spell, dispelling the brainwashing magic on Leimo.
• Leimo ordered the Ice Nest Swarm and Crystal Giants to stop attacking and retreat, ending the battle around the Treasure Ship.
• A destructive contingency began consuming Leimo, and he told Yang Yi that survivors of the Previous Era were inside the Pure White Gate and warned him to hurry.
• Leimo dissolved, and Yang Yi saw that the White Coffin was boiling and releasing flames despite less than three hours having passed.

Yang Yi struggled to keep the overheating White Coffin armor stable as he raced toward the Pure White Gate, while Su Na prepared to descend from the Treasure Ship to join him. Yang Yi suppressed the flames with White Shards and continued toward the gate as Su Na set out by another passage.

• After the battle ended, Yang Yi raced back toward the Pure White Gate as the White Coffin armor overheated and began to break apart.
• Su Na sent Yang Yi mobile White Shards through the Witch's Treasure Bag to patch the armor and help keep his temperature down.
• Yang Yi passed through frozen settlements, thawing one with the heat from his armor, before scorched-earth imagery began overlapping the ice around him.
• As the White Coffin armor pulled away from his limbs, Yang Yi ate White Shards to cool himself, stabilizing the flames and making the phantom imagery fade.

Yang Yi reached the Pure White Gate and took up the Spear That Pierces Everything, suppressing the spell threatening him. Removing the spear unleashed extreme cold across the Extreme Winter Sea, while Su Na hurried toward the No. 0 Excavation Site to join him.

• Yang Yi used Three Eyes to find an ice spike marking the passage to the Pure White Gate and discovered the Spear That Pierces Everything beneath it.

He found several Ice Eggs containing different versions of Istil and swallowed them for safekeeping as he drew closer to the Ice Nest Lord.

• Yang Yi removed the damaged White Coffin and found that Ice Nest Worms pouring through the gate quickly froze in the extreme cold.
• Yang Yi checked his pollution depth, briefly looked at the Ice Nest Lord, and saw his flames shrink almost to nothing before he turned away.
• Yang Yi concluded that he could suppress the fire by looking at the Ice Nest Lord and escape as soon as the flames went out.
• Yang Yi found Istil frozen inside an Ice Egg and suspected that the Mirror of Infinite Possibilities had created copies of her.
• Yang Yi discovered that his Treasure Bag would not work, swallowed the Ice Egg with the Maw of Gluttony, and collected more eggs containing different versions of Istil.

Yang Yi collected Istil’s copies and discovered the Ice Nest Lord nearby, then fought off its freezing influence by repeatedly casting Burn with Me! He reached the doorway and saw Su Na entering in a Protective Suit.

• Yang Yi collected ninety-three Istils and found the original Istil’s torn, frozen body among the remains of the research team.
• Yang Yi found Istil’s damaged Protective Headgear, Unseeing, but it cracked after he glimpsed the Ice Nest Lord nearby.
• Yang Yi gouged out his right eye and repeatedly cast Healing of the Flame and Burn with Me! to escape the freezing stasis.
• Heitanba sensed Charles Ba spreading fire and led the Fire Worship Cult Believers in a blazing celebration on Burning Island.
• Yang Yi reached the doorway and saw Su Na enter through the Pure White Gate in a Protective Suit.

Yang Yi escaped the Pure White Gate after the Ice Nest Lord absorbed the heat from his uncontrolled flames, but emerged frozen and then burst into fire again. Su Na helped him recover and warned that he would need the White Shards, his spear, and a Protective Suit to control his heat as she waited to hear what he had seen inside the gate.

• Su Na arrived at the No. 0 Excavation Site and entered the Pure White Gate, where Yang Yi stopped his flames from engulfing her and ordered her to leave.
• Yang Yi deliberately exposed his uncovered left eye to the Ice Nest Lord, which absorbed the heat from him and let him escape the gate before he froze solid.
• Su Na discovered Little The Charred Tree growing beside the breach, where it blocked the freezing air and raised the temperature in No. 0 Base.
• Su Na used Xiaoji's infrared rays to thaw Yang Yi, who immediately burst into flames again until he took hold of the Spear That Pierces Everything.

• Yang Yi described his brief madness near the Ice Nest Lord, his escape using Burn with Me!, and his discovery of Unseen and a pile of Istils.
• Su Na examined Unseen and realized it could help humans resist Great Beings by screening their perception.

Yang Yi and Su Na returned from the Pure White Gate with a haul of instruments and frozen Istils. Yang Yi chose Istil's skull for its powerful ship effects, while Su Na began preparing the captured Istils for experiments in her laboratory.

• Yang Yi and Su Na sealed Little The Charred Tree and the hole in the Pure White Gate inside a heavily fortified hut, then began their return journey with the recovered equipment.
• Yang Yi swallowed the overflow of delicate instruments to transport them safely, and he and Su Na escaped through damaged passages to the Treasure Ship.
• Yang Yi tested the researchers' remains on the Execution Rack and kept Golden Witch Istil's skull for its increased ship capacity, crew growth, Sanity resistance, and new skill.

He captured the escaped Istil, whose revival had turned her into a stitched monster, and Three Eyes identified her mutated hand as a Mutated Organ.

• Yang Yi watched the Fire Worship Cult believers sail away, added their trades to his Golden Hourglass, and decided to return to Steam Island after capturing Corpse Island.

• Three Eyes identified Istil's mutated right hand as the Claw of Plunder, which stole attribute experience from targets while damaging her Sanity.
• Yang Yi carried Istil to the Main Laboratory, where Su Na explained that the resurrection used tissue from other Istils and some of Yang Yi's flesh and bones.

Yang Yi activated Falling Star and returned the Treasure Ship to Steam Island, where he saw how much the island had grown during his absence. He planned to dock the Treasure Ship at the mobile One-Eye Grand Church and leave Noel and North in charge of trading.

• Su Na left the silent, apparently unintelligent Istil in Yang Yi's care while she returned to the Laboratory.
• Yang Yi activated Falling Star, and the Treasure Ship teleported toward Steam Island before landing safely in the Sea of No Light.
• Yang Yi, Noel, North, and the crew sailed through Steam Island's expanded waterways toward the second-ring port.
• Players, including Ma Dabao, Yu Dawei, and Zhang Zhi, gathered to welcome Yang Yi, while the rebuilt One-Eye Grand Church approached on its mechanical legs.

• Yang Yi told Su Na that Istil had briefly shown she could understand them, but Istil stopped responding when Su Na questioned her.

• Two days later, Pink Cow used her monitor to survey Corpse Island while Balot led the expedition and Wang Chong watched the footage.

He began repeatedly attaching and severing his own hand to hammer the White Shard and belt together.

• Balot’s team killed several dozen Limb Spiders without casualties and concluded the creatures had spent a long time underwater.

• The party entered the island and found that its occupation required killing the lord of Corpse Island and claiming authority over the Perfect Limb Spider.

Yang Yi finished a powerful Transformation Belt and left Istil with Su Na to respond to Balot's group, who had discovered corpses drained of their potential on Corpse Island. Haken sent skeletons to locate the danger, and after losing contact with two riders, he led the group southwest to escape.

• Yang Yi hung the nearly Master-level Transformation Belt at his waist while Su Na questioned Istil about great beings and the system.
• Yang Yi noticed Balot's messages about incapacitated torsos and tried to warn the group to leave Corpse Island, but his message failed to send.
• Several hours earlier, Balot's group reached the Town Area and found no living targets, only a corpse with its limbs and potential drained.
• Haken recognized the corpse as the victim of a great being and sent more than a hundred skeletons to search the town.
• After losing contact with two Skeleton Riders in the northeast, Haken led the group southwest and summoned more skeletons to distract the threat.

Balot’s squad fled across Corpse Island, but a gigantic spider assembled from grafted bodies emerged and attacked them. The system updated their objective to include suppressing the Spider Mother Remnant, leaving the squad facing a new threat.

• Haken warned the squad that his summoned skeletons were disappearing, and Pink Cow shot through the tentacles that had seized three Iron Brotherhood members.
• Balot and Hong Yanyan used potions to prepare for battle as the squad turned to face the pursuing creature.
• Balot warned the others about attacks from below, and the squad took to the air and cut down the tentacles with ranged attacks.
• A colossal spider rose from the corpse pile, its screams draining the squad’s Sanity and its body bearing the face of a Witch and a laughing skin sack.
• The Activity Log changed the mission requirements, adding the suppression of the Spider Mother Remnant alongside killing Great Limb Graftor Gwen.

Balot and the others fought the Spider Mother Remnant, whose flesh and tentacles invaded the minds of anyone they touched. Reinforcements arrived and gave the group a chance to retreat, but Gwen urged her goddess to use magic against them.

• Balot warned everyone to fight separately, then landed on the Spider Mother Remnant and cut through its limbs before its tiny spiders connected him to its body and invaded his mind.
• Wang Chong rescued Balot by severing his feet and lifting him onto Haken's carriage, while Balot warned the others to cut any tentacle that touched them.
• Hong Yanyan fought in Bloodthirst Beast Form, and Pink Cow repeatedly saved her from the tentacles until she was eventually captured and dragged into the Spider Mother Remnant.
• A member of the Iron Brotherhood was captured and turned against his companions, then Hong Yanyan was pulled into the creature's body as well.

• A revived Spider Mother Derivative impaled Wang Chong, while restored Derivatives and tentacles attacked the group again.
• Wang Chong used Explosive Qi to fight back, but the Spider Mother Remnant cast Limb Enhancement and her creatures overwhelmed the defenders.
• The Iron Brotherhood members, the Pink Cow, and Wang Chong were captured as Haken and Balot continued fighting without the Portal ship’s support.

Yang Yi reached Corpse Island and discovered that the Spider Mother Remnant had emerged from the Perfect Limb Spider after a ritual consumed the island’s inhabitants. He met the creature in battle and hurled the Spear That Pierces Everything at it.

• Yang Yi entered a Portal from Steam Island and found himself near a ship surrounded by Limb Spiders.
• Yang Yi tried to contact Balot, Mars, and other players, then inferred that the Spider Mother Remnant had captured them.
• Yang Yi spotted the enormous Perfect Limb Spider and recognized the skins hanging from its legs as evidence of the ritual on Corpse Island.
• Yang Yi located Mars’s position on the island and fired a Fear-Killing Cannon shot, which the Spider Mother Remnant sent back at him.
• Yang Yi transformed into a Flame Giant, shattered the returning cannonball, and charged toward the Spider Mother Remnant.

Yang Yi fought the Spider Mother Remnant, using a freezing spear and grafted limbs to weaken her while rescuing people she had absorbed. He searched for the missing members of his group and, unable to find them, began using Limb Restoration Spell on the Remnant to learn where they were.

• Yang Yi struck the Spider Mother Remnant with the freezing spear, but she used Limb Copy Spell to seize his limbs and recover Gwen.
• Yang Yi reclaimed the spear and severed arms, then attached arms belonging to Linnae and fled from the Remnant’s main body.
• Yang Yi detached Balot and rescued Hong Yanyan and other people grafted onto the Remnant.
• Yang Yi searched twice for Mars, Wang Chong, Pink Cow, and the Iron Brotherhood members but could not find them.

Yang Yi escaped the Spider Mother Remnant in White Demon mode and battled Linnae, discovering that his salt and freezing attacks could hinder her but not easily destroy her. As he dived toward the spider body to kill Gwen and freeze the whole remnant, fire rose from below.

• Yang Yi found Mars and several other clear-minded consciousnesses inside the Spider Mother Remnant, then used White Demon mode to freeze his way out with them.
• Gwen asked the Spider Mother to resurrect Linnae, but the remnant convulsed as Yang Yi burst out carrying the captured people.
