Yang Yi entered Study Room No. 47 in the Truth Library and explored its unusual tower of bookshelves. He discovered that Three Eyes let him see strange fragments flowing into other students, but inhaling them himself had no effect.

Yang Yi discovered that the Truth Library was made of tangible knowledge and that the Maw of Gluttony could consume it, giving him vast understanding at the cost of his sanity. After he vomited up what it had eaten, students rushed to devour the discarded knowledge, leaving the library in chaos.

As students struggled to reach the Examination Building through a wall of rapidly grown trees, one student began blasting a path through them.

• Yang Yi posted a self-criticism letter whose hidden message denied his guilt, angering Mentor Michelin, and then spent his days planting seeds and trees.
• With thirteen days left before graduation, all enrolled students received notice that the exam would begin in twenty-four hours, with two exam sessions scheduled one minute apart.
• Students arriving to inspect the Examination Building found dense, towering trees blocking the way and suspected Yang Yi had caused them to grow overnight.

Yang Yi used the Student Code of Conduct and a potion-made wall of trees to block candidates from reaching the Examination Building while protecting his food supplies. Mentor Michelin accepted that Yang Yi deserved to graduate, but left Su Na’s outcome uncertain and revealed that Miskatonic University’s staff had known about the players all along.

• Students extinguished a fire started by a gunshot, but the shooter lost 1,050 credits after the Student Handbook counted the attack on Yang Yi’s trees as multiple violations.
• Yang Yi relied on five food-making machines and trees grown with Su Na’s Emerald Shelter potion to fortify the Second Examination Hall.

• Yang Yi handed in his blank exam paper, and Sun Jin congratulated him on graduating before Yang Yi rose away from the university.
• Yang Yi recalled rescuing Su Na and gaining strength, then fell into another space where his right eye could not see and Three Eyes revealed an inverted, lighthouse-like building radiating fragmented knowledge.

Yang Yi emerged from Miskatonic University into the newly formed Boiling Sea, badly damaged and far from the Nightmare Star. He discovered the Fire Worship Cult had built an altar around a small Charred Tree and was worshipping statues of him as the Lord Fire Bearer Charles Ba.

• Yang Yi surfaced in the Boiling Sea near the Deathbirth Star’s wreckage and used the Limb Restoration Spell to begin repairing his body.
• Yang Yi found that his supplies were gone and decided to seek limbs or food, then spotted an island with Fire Worship Cult ships and headed toward it using his Flame Body.
• Yang Yi reached the island and saw over five thousand Fire Worship Cult believers gathered around a burning altar and a small Charred Tree.
• The believers recognized Yang Yi as the Lord Fire Bearer Charles Ba and thanked him for bringing the Lord’s image into the world.
• Yang Yi recognized the deformed god statues around the altar as depictions of himself in Wolf Transformation.

Yang Yi accepted the Fire Worship Cult believers’ ship and food, then used the Firebearer to travel toward the Nightmare Star while testing its flight and fuel. After learning the ship’s bonfire required believers’ flesh to produce flight-sustaining black smoke, he accidentally set his tongue alight and sent the ship rocketing skyward.

• Yang Yi accepted the Firebearer and a shipload of charred food from the Fire Worship Cult believers, who hailed him as their Lord Flamebearer.
• Several believers set themselves alight on the deck, producing black smoke that lifted the Firebearer into the air.

A week after the battle, Yang Yi recovered his Qi and Blood but became dangerously obese from eating aboard the Firebearer, so he began fasting and exercising. He reconnected with Su Na and Cui Xiya, then spotted the Nightmare Star and prepared to return to it.

After Yang Yi’s Pollution Depth fell, he found Cui Xiya alive in the Captain’s Quarters, and Su Na gave him a potion to wake her.

• Yang Yi landed on the Nightmare Star, drank Su Na’s Slimming Potion, and vomited out fat that Su Na collected as valuable Fire Bearer’s Grease.
