Shi Lei arrived on Garbage Island as the Radiant Holy Church neared victory over a golden Collector and targeted a badly wounded Paladin to weaken the church. The chapter ended as a gigantic, cracked dark red shadow appeared in his path.

• The Radiant Holy Church used its statues, Blind Believers, knights, and two Paladins to subdue the golden Collector at the center of Garbage Island.
• Shi Lei reported that the island was about to fall and urged the Regional Channel to attack the Radiant Holy Church while it fought on two fronts.
• Shi Lei borrowed a month of power from his future self and charged through the church’s forces, destroying statues and knocking a massive Collector aside.
• The golden Collector grabbed the bull-headed Paladin and blocked the other Paladin from returning to help Shi Lei.
• Shi Lei reached a gravely wounded Paladin with three imitation Salt Spikes in his chest, intending to remove him from the fight.

• Shi Lei cut through the Head Collector’s wing, killed a Paladin despite suffering corrosive injuries, and was then slammed into a rubbish heap by the Head Collector.
• The President of the Golden Commerce Guild released Collectors against the Light Cage, while a female Paladin summoned the Goddess’s phantom and drew some Collectors into her faith.
• The tall, bull-headed Paladin vanished after exchanging a glance with the female Paladin.
• Hamof and Banks worked together to destroy a medium-sized God Statue, while Jin Xin destroyed another with his rotary machine guns.
• A huge phantom radiating Holy Light appeared before the advancing players.

The players fought through the Holy Church forces after a goddess’s apparition devastated their ranks, but the unseen Horn Paladin turned the battle by killing several of their strongest fighters. The chapter ended with the Horn Paladin holding what remained of Chiba Hashira as the players faced a powerful enemy they had barely detected.

• A goddess’s blinding apparition healed the Holy Church forces and wounded or incapacitated many players, but Jin Xin, Shen Guanquan, and the robots helped the army hold its line.
• Heize and a blindfolded ronin continued fighting despite losing their sight, while Qin Ming, He Qi, Song Yingwen, and other players advanced toward the Golden City.

As Molly and Haken worked to revive fallen allies and Shi Lei recovered in the sewers, the Horn Paladin headed toward the rear defenses.

• The Horn Paladin smashed through robots and plant troops, destroyed three Twisted Warships, and raced toward the players’ ships.
• Shen Guanquan learned that contact with Green Island had been lost but ordered the main force to keep advancing toward the dome sealing the Golden City.
• Qin Ming, He Qi, and Xu Da turned back to pursue the Horn Paladin, while most players continued forward.
• Molly reported the battlefield to Shi Lei, who ordered her to revive Heize and Chiba Hashira and warned A-Chong and Lu Lu about the approaching threat.
• Molly and Haken began combining their Magic Arrays and materials to attempt to resurrect Heize and Chiba Hashira.

The Radiant Holy Church launched a surprise assault on Green Island, trapping its Players beneath a cage of Radiant Goddess Statues and disabling their communications. Huang Zhuang tried to lead survivors toward the island’s center as the Divine Eagle Knight and a vast fleet joined the attack.

• Players fishing off Green Island spotted rows of Radiant Goddess Statues emerging from the water alongside Holy Church Knights and Blind Believer Sisters.
• The statues surrounded Green Island and bombarded it with beams that injured Players and spread the Church’s faith.
• Huang Zhuang failed to contact Shen Guanquan or use the Regional Channel, then heard from Liu Chu that Green Island was surrounded and was told to gather Players and retreat toward the center.
• Huang Zhuang warned nearby Players, rescued some injured people, and beheaded a newly transformed Blind Believer, who continued attacking until the Annihilator Mech’s Blazing Fire engulfed him.
• Players along the outer coast were overwhelmed, while a fleet of ten thousand Radiant Warships approached Green Island.
• The Divine Eagle Knight fired curved shots at Players across the island, killing those who rejected the Lord’s Glory.

Lada continued repairing the Twin Observation Station while Yang Yi brought the Eagle Knight inside and considered leaving him to guard Moon Island. At Garbage Island, Zhao Tie, Lu Lu, and A-Chong prepared to intercept the approaching Paladin, and Zhang Zhi joined them as they readied for battle.

• Lada told Augustus, Haozi, and Balie that she was not finished repairing the Observatory, so they left to wait for her upstairs.
• Yang Yi brought the Eagle Knight into the other Twin Observation Station and said he might leave him on Moon Island to guard it.
• Zhao Tie received Shen Guanquan's order to hold the Paladin back at any cost and learned that Huang Shishi might be in danger.
• A-Chong asked Lu Lu and Zhao Tie to protect him, then revealed a Black-Red Eyeball in his forehead and warned that the Paladin would die if he failed to kill A-Chong in time.

The player army advanced toward the Golden City while Shen Guanquan commanded the front, and the players prepared layered defenses in the rear for an approaching Paladin. As the Paladin smashed through the first two defensive lines, A-Chong prepared to target the energy nodes he could see through his special eye.

• Shen Guanquan ordered the front line to advance and destroy the god statues on the enormous energy barrier as players battled through the Golden City.
• Yu Dawei, Song Yingwen, and Di supported the advance, with Song Yingwen and Di transforming into Bloodthirst Beasts to fight the Holy Church Knight Captains.
• The players fortified the rear with five defensive lines, robot troops, naval mines, two Twisted Warships, and the Spear of the Deep.
• A-Chong concealed himself on an inert naval mine and spotted the Paladin as it charged through the first two defensive lines, breaking the robots apart.
• A-Chong used his black-and-red eye to see thirteen energy nodes within the Paladin, then held his breath and fired his Hero-level electromagnetic Sniper Rifle.

Zhang Zhi and the others used artillery, miniature nuclear bombs, and A-Chong’s mysterious shots to wound the Horn Paladin, but the Divine Bull Knight kept advancing. He reached the Final Line of Defense and prepared a powerful strike against the two Level Eight Twisted Warships.

• A-Chong’s first shot stopped the Horn Paladin before the Third Line of Defense, and Zhang Zhi ordered a bombardment that destroyed the surrounding forces without stopping him.
• A-Chong shot the Paladin’s right knee, while Zhang Zhi’s miniature nuclear bombs destroyed the Third Line of Defense and finally injured the Paladin.
• The Divine Bull Knight roared in fury, disabling nearby Underwater Security Robots, and Zhang Zhi lifted restrictions on nuclear weapons before the Final Line of Defense.
• Zhao Tie steadied himself at the controls as the Divine Bull Knight endured the nuclear blasts and took two more shots from A-Chong.
• The Divine Bull Knight broke through the Fifth Line of Defense, reached the Final Line of Defense, and attacked the two Level Eight Twisted Warships with Supreme Holy Slash ready.

A-Chong and Lu Lu weakened and distracted the Divine Bull Knight, but his counterattack left A-Chong near death and exposed. Just as the Divine Bull Knight moved to kill him, the Spear of the Deep rammed the knight and drove him back toward Zhang Zhi.

• A-Chong’s fifth shot struck the Divine Bull Knight’s left eye, diverting his Supreme Holy Slash and wiping out much of the defensive line.
• Lu Lu distracted the Divine Bull Knight and stabbed his lower back and left eye, but escaped after A-Chong shot the hand holding her.
• A-Chong hid among the wreckage and continued sniping, while Zhang Zhi directed the scattered robots to keep the Divine Bull Knight occupied.
• The Divine Bull Knight baited A-Chong into firing an eighth shot, deflected it, and found his hiding place as A-Chong’s strength failed.
• The Spear of the Deep activated its speed and ramming abilities and drove into the Divine Bull Knight, pushing him toward Zhang Zhi.

Zhao Tie rammed the Divine Bull Knight with the Spear of the Deep, and Zhang Zhi followed with the Twisted Iron Will’s devastating Fear-Descending Cannon. The Divine Bull Knight survived, badly mutilated, and Qin Ming arrived to challenge him to a duel.

• Zhao Tie drove the Spear of the Deep’s ram into the Divine Bull Knight, badly injuring him.
• Zhang Zhi fired the Twisted Iron Will’s Fear-Descending Cannon, destroying the Spear of the Deep and nearly killing the Divine Bull Knight.
• Zhang Zhi saw that the Divine Bull Knight had survived with only part of his head, shoulder, and right arm, and prepared for a fight to the death.
• Qin Ming arrived, identified the mutilated Divine Bull Knight by his Vicious Small Round Shields, and challenged him to a duel.

Qin Ming and the others overwhelmed the injured Divine Bull Knight while the player army fought the Radiant Holy Church around the Light Cage. After Wang Yuan stopped the Light Fairies and the Fear Descends Cannon breached the cage, a golden figure charged inside toward the Divine Language Knight.

• Qin Ming used his shields’ taunts and curse-inflicting attacks to gain the advantage over the wounded Divine Bull Knight, then He Qi, Xu Da, and Lu Lu joined the fight.
• Yu Dawei and the Iron Brotherhood deployed War Machines and began building battlefield fortifications near the Light Cage.
• The Radiant Holy Church unleashed swarms of Light Fairies that invaded players’ bodies and disrupted the player army.
• Wang Yuan used Throat of Pain to incapacitate the Light Fairies, while the Divine Language Knight redirected Collectors against the players.
• Yu Dawei ordered the players to take cover as the Fear Descends Cannon blasted a breach through the Light Cage and wounded the Head Collector.

• Shi Lei followed the Treasure Collector to a wounded giant golden toad beneath the city's sewers.
• The toad offered Shi Lei an expired imitation Divine Healing Potion, which he accepted despite its side effects.
• The Treasure Collector gave Shi Lei imitation armor and potions, and Shi Lei put on the armor before heading back to battle.
• Shi Lei learned that A-Chong had badly wounded the other Paladin and rushed to exploit the opening.

• Shi Lei used Blade Formation to press the Divine Language Knight back, while Balot urged the players to attack the Blind Believers.
• Di and the transformed Bloodthirst Beast Song Yingwen held off the Collector as Yu Dawei and the robots provided fire support and the Bigji Robot repaired the war machines.
• Shen Guanquan learned that the rear Paladin was dead and received Zhao Tie's message that Yang Yi had escaped.
• Lada and Su Na repaired the Twin Observation Stations in sync, and Yang Yi emerged from the hatch with little Dara.
• Little Dara mistook Lada for her counterpart from another spacetime, and Su Na and the Eagle Knight followed Yang Yi out, prompting Lada to take a defensive stance.

Yang Yi learned that Green Island had gone silent and agreed to investigate and rescue its residents using the Nightmare Star’s map teleportation. He took Balie’s Hero-level equipment as payment and returned to the Nightmare Star to prepare for the trip.

• Yang Yi introduced Eagle Knight to Augustus and the others, then learned from the Forum that the fighting on Garbage Island was going well.
• Balie reminded Yang Yi about the Infinite Flintlock, and Zhao Tie sent Yang Yi an urgent message about Green Island’s disappearance.
• Zhao Tie explained that Green Island had lost contact and that Huang Shishi might be in danger, so he asked Yang Yi for help.

• Huang Zhuang used his belt and the players’ coordinated attacks to disable and defeat a patrol of Holy Church Knights, then withdrew before the Holy Light could revive them.
• Huang Zhuang rebuilt the Pirate at a pool connected to the sea, and Huang Shishi used ship equipment to make it sink while players held back the pursuing Blind Believers.
• A Divine Eagle Knight sniped players across Green Island, killing the ship’s steersman and two nearby players and leaving Huang Zhuang as the only one onshore.
• Huang Shishi emerged onto the deck and shot arrows at the Blind Believers as the Divine Eagle Knight prepared to shoot her and Huang Zhuang.

The Nightmare Star arrived above Green Island as the Radiant Holy Church attacked, and Yang Yi’s group moved to support the island’s defenders. After the Divine Eagle Knight’s bullets devastated the ship’s deck, Yang Yi located him and intercepted his shots, but the knight then unleashed Supreme Holy Slash at the entire ship.

• The Nightmare Star arrived above Green Island, where the Radiant Holy Church had surrounded the island and was capturing Blind Believers.
• Yang Yi ordered the crew to target the Goddess Statues and Handless Female Believers, rescue captured players, and treat the wounded.
• The Divine Eagle Knight shot Yang Yi, whose hardened head deflected the bullet, and Su Na activated her force-field barrier to protect the crew.
• The Divine Eagle Knight fired a barrage that killed the Limb Spider Soldiers, shattered the Iron Skeletons, and wounded nearly everyone aboard the Nightmare Star.
