"Orders from the Acting Captain Commander: the police force will take a day to rest and regroup."
He swept his gaze over the crowd of onlookers. "Of course, if there's a crime to report, you can tell me. We'll dispatch someone immediately."
They would handle cases, but no one was getting inside.
