"Big brother, you're finally back."
Seeing her brother return home late at night, Uchiha Izumi immediately rushed forward and threw her arms around his waist in delighted surprise.
His little sister had grown quite a bit in the six months since he had last seen her.
Uchiha Jin affectionately ruffled her hair, his eyes gentle.
"I got held up on the way."
If that inherently evil Shisui Uchiha hadn't let Obito trick him into joining the Akatsuki...
Would he have wasted so much time?
Fortunately, the villain had received his deserved punishment. That guy was a cripple now.
The thought eased Jin's frustration.
"You were away from the village for six months. Did you find Shisui?"
Uchiha Izumi looked up at her brother, her big eyes full of anticipation.
As far as she knew...
Her brother had left the village entirely because Shisui had been angered into running away.
He had been gone for so long; she wondered whether he had managed to bring him back.
If there was still no news of Shisui, that could only mean her brother had really gone too far.
So far that Shisui Uchiha refused to forgive him...
Uchiha Izumi didn't really understand.
Shisui was so good-natured. He worked hard without a word of complaint.
Yet her brother didn't treasure such a good friend. All day long, he either made snide remarks or gave him the cold shoulder.
Some people only learned to cherish what they had after losing it.
"What's with that look?"
Seeing her expression, Uchiha Jin flicked his sister's forehead in exasperation.
"I brought that guy back."
"Ow."
Uchiha Izumi immediately covered her forehead, her eyes sparkling at his words.
"Hehe, you finally found Shisui and brought him back. Remember this lesson, and don't hurt his feelings again when you argue."
