"Jin, you're back?"
Uchiha Fugaku put down his book when he saw who had arrived, his expression surprised.
The kid had been away from the village for nearly half a year, hadn't he?
He was finally back.
Ever since Uchiha Jin left the clan, Fugaku had no longer been able to leave everything to others.
Fortunately, public order in Konoha had been good these past few years, so the Konoha Military Police Force Troops' work had not been too troublesome.
"Yeah."
Uchiha Jin nodded calmly, pulled out a chair, and sat down across from him.
Uchiha Fugaku's eyelid twitched at the sight.
After half a year apart, how had this kid become even more arrogant?
Surely he hadn't failed to find Shisui Uchiha, gotten frustrated, and come here to take it out on him?
The main thing was that everyone knew how Jin operated.
He showed no one any deference.
Even Uchiha Fugaku was afraid of offending the kid.
"Did you find Shisui?"
At that thought, he asked tentatively, pouring tea into Jin's cup as he spoke.
"I found him."
Uchiha Jin inclined his head slightly. "He's not in very good shape. Don't let anyone disturb him."
Uchiha Fugaku: "???"
What did that mean?
What did he mean, he wasn't in very good shape?
A sudden sense of foreboding rose inside him, and all sorts of images of Shisui in a terrible state flashed through his mind.
Surely Jin hadn't done something to Shisui...
The mere thought sent a chill down his spine!
After half a year apart, Uchiha Jin felt like a completely different person.
Subconsciously, Uchiha Fugaku did not really want to have any contact with him.
Strange.
Jin clearly hadn't been like this before.
Although Jin had never shown anyone deference, there had been no malice in
