They made their way around to a secluded corner, where the corpses blocked the view from outside. Allen also set a few barrels of black oil they had brought specially to one side.
This black oil was not fuel, but something closer to paint. Its purpose was simple: if someone came in, they could pour it onto the floor to cover up the altar drawn there.
Allen gave the remaining Believers a look. They spread out, took out scalpels and assorted jars and bottles, and pretended to be cutting up corpses.
Elsa quickly began setting up the sacrifice ritual.
