Vanessa was a little curious. She still wasn't very familiar with her Talent, [Compliance]; this was practically her first time using it.
[Compliance] could sense nearby [Vessels]. Although its range wasn't particularly large, it could sense any within that range.
Elliot had used this to sense the [Vessel] inside the ship's cabin directly from the Sea of the Moon.
At that moment, Vanessa sensed a [Vessel] not far away.
She didn't pay it much mind. Since it was nearby, it was most likely another of Elsa's corpses. She might not be the only arrangement the Lord had made here.
With that, she started dealing with the paperwork.
But after a while, her brows slowly furrowed again.
"That's not right."
Vanessa turned toward the direction she sensed it in.
It wasn't far from here, perhaps just a few streets away. If there hadn't been buildings blocking the way, she probably could have seen it.

"Why is that [Vessel] moving on its own?"
Vanessa scratched her head, genuinely puzzled.
"Forget it, forget it. Let's approve these documents first."
There really was a lot of work in the Cult. She spent the entire morning busy with it before finally getting ready to head downstairs to the canteen for lunch, her head spinning and her vision swimming.
