Background / History
Bounty Ambush
Kamo Xiansheng partnered with Wengu Che in an ambush targeting Satoru Gojo’s bounty of several hundred million yen. When Qingxiao arrived, Gojo identified Kamo as a dangerous Semi-Grade 1 curse user and a traitor to the Kamo Clan. Qingxiao offered the attackers double the bounty to withdraw, but Kamo rejected negotiations and launched Piercing Blood. Gojo returned from moving the injured Suguru Geto and blocked the attack with Limitless 23.
Duel with Qingxiao
Kamo remained behind to fight Qingxiao while Gojo pursued Wengu. Qingxiao repeatedly interrupted Convergence with cursed energy-coated rebar, forcing Kamo to fire undercharged shots and expend blood on defense. Mistaking these throws for a ranged cursed technique, Kamo abandoned the exchange and closed in under Blood Armor 24.
Qingxiao’s first counterpunch convinced Kamo to activate Flowing Red Scale and form a Blood Blade. Their close-range battle escalated until Kamo was overtaxing his body to maintain his enhanced speed and strength. His blood packs ran dry, and his simultaneous offensive and defensive techniques depleted his remaining blood faster than the ranged battle had 25 26.
Death
The injured Geto intervened with a small bird-shaped Grade 2 Cursed Spirit. Kamo raised a Thin Blood Layer to protect his face, briefly leaving a gap in his chest armor. Qingxiao struck the exposed area with Black Flash, reducing Kamo to blood mist and leaving only bloodstains and cursed residue 26 27.
Qingxiao initially believed Kamo had escaped through a “Blood Escape Technique.” Shoko Ieiri clarified that the Kamo Clan possessed no such technique, prompting him to realize that Kamo was dead 27.

Near defeat, he refuses to surrender and adopts a reckless, injury-for-injury assault in hopes of reversing the fight 24 25 26.
