Li Shunchen trained Yuji Itadori and the other first-years while investigating cursed incidents, then confronted Mahito and the stitched woman in a sewer. After Mahito damaged one of Li’s souls and erased his memories of the First Simulation, Li summoned Mahoraga, whose rampage ended with Jogo opening his Domain Expansion.

• Li Shunchen, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto divided their investigation of the stitched woman, while Li began teaching Yuji Itadori to control cursed energy and use Asagirimaru.
• Li brought Yuji and Megumi Fushiguro to meet Nobara Kugisaki, then tested Yuji and Nobara during a low-level assignment and taught them ways to improve their fighting skills.

Li Shunchen became a special grade cursed spirit in the simulation, fought the stitched woman, and returned carrying the memories and power of that life. Determined to find the woman behind the simulations and change the coming events, he traced her to Kaori Itadori and attacked her home.

• Li Shunchen became a cursed spirit after his death in the simulation, battled the stitched woman, and was exorcised when their domains and Hollow Purple collided.
• Li Shunchen returned with the simulation’s memories and power, broke down over the deaths he remembered, then concealed his distress from Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo.
• Li Shunchen revealed his cursed spirit form and Domain Expansion to Geto and Gojo, sparred with Geto, and used a delayed Hollow Purple to destroy Mahoraga.

Li Shunchen killed Kaori Itadori, unleashing a nationwide curse disaster, then began building a cursed-corpse army to protect people. During Riko Amanai’s escort mission, he uncovered Kenjaku’s revived sorcerers and went to confront Tengen, leaving the story with his claim that he had killed Kenjaku.

• Li Shunchen defeated Kaori Itadori, learned she wanted to use Tengen to merge with every non-sorcerer in Japan, and killed her, triggering the release of curses she had accumulated.
• Millions of cursed spirits rampaged across Japan, and Li Shunchen proposed mass-producing conscious cursed corpses using copies of his own soul information.

Li Shunchen forced Tengen to abandon the Star Plasma Vessel assimilation, then secured Zenin support and created Great Sage, an independent cursed corpse built from his memories. He presented Great Sage to the Higher-Ups as proof of his Special Grade case and threatened to make the technology public.

• Li Shunchen confronted Tengen over her barriers and the sacrifices they demanded, then compelled her to abandon assimilation with the Star Plasma Vessel.
• Li Shunchen told Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Riko Amanai that the assimilation was canceled, and the deadline passed without incident.
• Li Shunchen brought Megumi Fushiguro to the Zenin Clan and defeated its fighters to establish Megumi’s claim to leadership and win Naobito Zenin’s support.
