Tsunade drew in a sharp breath. This was the first time she had heard of an ocular jutsu as outrageous as Izanagi.
"Even if using it once costs you your sight, this ocular jutsu is far too unfair. It can turn any unfavorable effect into an illusion. This..."
After hearing Shihōin Naraku's explanation, Kakashi Hatake was also deeply shocked. It seemed he still knew far too little about the Sharingan.
Naraku, in turn, looked somewhat surprised and asked Tsunade, "Teacher, you never went to examine Danzo's body?"
"Hm? Why?"
Tsunade knew Danzo had died at her student's hands, so she had paid little attention to the matter.
As the newly appointed Hokage, Tsunade had found things much easier without a deeply entrenched old-school ninja like Danzo around.
As for how Shimura Danzō had died, she did not care.
Especially since her own student had been involved, Tsunade had let the matter slide without fuss partly because she did not want anyone pursuing Naraku over it.
That was why she had never examined Shimura Danzō's corpse!
"You never asked before, Teacher, so I didn't mention it." Naraku gestured along his own arm. "When I fought Danzo, one of his arms was covered in Sharingan!"
"So you're saying Danzo relied on Izanagi to keep fighting you back then!"
"Exactly!"
Naraku added, "If you can still find Danzo's corpse, you'll see a row of blinded Sharingan on that arm!"
"This..."
Tsunade froze, then waved a hand. "How could we possibly find it now? Those old fossils wouldn't have kept Danzo's corpse around, even if only to save their own reputations."
Naraku frowned as he glanced at the distracted Kakashi, then shook his head. "Teacher, I have a suggestion!"
"What is it?"
"Have Kakashi reinvestigate the truth behind the Nine-Tails' Attack and the destruction
