Needless to say, it had to be because of the disturbance caused by his fight with Akame. Tenzo and the ANBU members probably had not uncovered anything, so his teacher Tsunade could only send Naraku himself.
"Interesting. Sending me to investigate myself."
Naraku shook his head and soon arrived at the Hokage's Office.
Seeing Naraku arrive, Tsunade wasted no time. "You must have noticed the commotion outside the village!"
"Of course. Someone must have been fighting near the village, but didn't you send the ANBU to investigate, Teacher?"
"Tenzo has already returned with his team. By the time they arrived, everyone was long gone. But the ANBU searched the surrounding area afterward and still found something unexpected."
Tsunade paused before continuing, "Tenzo found traces left by Wood Release Ninjutsu nearby. That means someone on one side of the fight possessed Wood Release!"
Naraku frowned. "Are you sure?"
"You know Tenzo possesses Wood Release Ninjutsu himself, though he still falls short of my grandfather back in his day. But he's very sensitive to anything involving Wood Release, so I trust his judgment."
Tenzo had neither guessed correctly nor been entirely wrong.
Akame's Wood Release differed from what Hashirama Senju and Tenzo possessed. It was more an effect resembling Wood Release Ninjutsu, produced by the fusion of the God Tree and the Forest-Forest Fruit.

Since they had already confirmed it was Wood Release, why summon him?
